Last night my adjudicated date was Oct. 6

This morning my adjudicated date was Sept 27. Now it is Oct 9.

But the average time from filing to NOA2 dropped from 124 days to 101 days.

How can the average time drop and my adjudicated date move farther out?

Oct. 9th will be 141 days using the sent date.

Can someone explain this? PLEASE! :wacko:

Mine went from October 10 to September 29 to October 12.

Mine went from September 19 to September 03 to September 22.

AOS Timeline......

03/10/2008 - Mailed AOS Appl.

03/13/2008 - NOA Notice Date.

03/15/2008 - NOA's for : I-485, I-131 & I-765

03/16/2008 - Case online.

03/22/2008 - Biometrics assigned date: 04/01/2008, Bio completed early .

03/24/2008 - AOS Touched.

03/27/2008 - RFE Letter : Dated.

03/31/2008 - RFE snail mail rec'd date ( EZ-864 / Missing birth certificate).

04/01/2008 - Mailed RFE response.

04/03/2008 - RFE document delivered to Lees Summit, MO @ 4:03 P.M:

04/07/2008 - AOS Touched, Current status: Response to rfe received, and case processing has resumed.

04/08/2008 - AOS Touched.

05/27/2008 - AOS Touched, received USCIS email indicated case transfered to CSC.

05/29/2008 - AOS Touched.

05/31/2008 - USCIS snail mail stating I-485 has been transferred to CSC to speedup processing.

06/03/2008 - Received email from CSC confirming reception of transferred I-485.

Yesterday Sept.4, my fiance called VSC using the RFE trick i told him in the morning while at his work. He was so nervous of what the person would tell him. lol The person only told him that we don't have an RFE and that it's still pending. I think the person just read it online. My fiance called the VSC again in the afternoon and this time, he got to talk to a real nice lady. The lady said they have our file and that it's in the right place. My fiance said the lady was concerned. She said their processing time is 6 months from the receipt date, but she said to expect ours in less than 30 days. She also said they dont have someone assigned right now but she said it'll be done before 30 days. We're expecting it by mid-September... weeeeeeeeeeeee please please pray for everyone...muuaaaaaahhhhh :dancing::dance:

I really, really hope all May filers will get approved soon... :dance:

Lets have a fantastic Wednesday!! Anyone with CSC any idea of why I should not have been assigned a case officer yet with May 3rd NOA 1. According to the timeline for CSC that means ours should be one of the next ones to be approved but the fact that it has not been touched in a while leads me to believe its still sat in the back room which surely cannot be right can it after 125 days since my NOA 1 ??

If ANYONE has any more info about what date they are processing, because like I say according to date only most people posting here are behind me !?!

Are there any more people who have been at least assigned a case officer who can post about how long its been since there first real touch and not just the RFE trick ??

Do they go by received date or NOA1 date to prioritize when processing? We have a seperation of 3 weeks between our receiving date (mentioned on the hardcopy NOA1) and the date the NOA1 was issued.

The official date for the USCIS is the date your NOA1 was issued, that date is when they're saying they have received your case 'officially' and they will start working in it.

Also, for those of you who are wondering why your adjudication times have changed lately, yesterday there was a post here that said that the adjudication times in VJ were going to be calculated from the date on the NOA1 instead of the date of filing... but for some reason that post is gone.. I wonder what happened? My timeline yesterday, said we were approved in 92 days (since NOA1) and today it's back to 120 days... :huh:

Good luck everyone! Our day of approval was also a Wednesday so I hope today will be 'the day' for many of you!!! :thumbs:
