Hey........I got a touch !!!!!!

Thank you ASH....Seasuirl....I love you guys...the FRE trick worked!!!! I was able to talk to someone at the CSC. He was NICE, different from all the idiotic brain dead nincompoops who don't know anything but pretend to be up on things and sound like a broken record. This guy was refreshing and honest. At least I found out that my case has not been assigned yet but will be soon....He said they get over 30,000 applications a month at CSC...maybe hard to believe but possible!

I called friday evening....there was no touch on saturday. But today, sunday, I found a touch dated August 31 !!! I know it was the phone call but that makes me feel GREAT !!!!!

Yes, this guy was sincere. I could sense his spirit from the beginning and our spirits matched perfectly. Yes that was some experience!!! I told him he made my day and choked up with emotion when we were done talking. Sometimes I think God changed his heart...he certainly sounded like an angel !!! God bless him.

I know how you feel Mirla. I have called USCIS several times and have only gotten the scripted info. In addition, the phone calls where never recorded as a touch. Maybe I will try again on Tuesday and see if I luck out and get someone who will give me some helpful info. Maybe the third time will be a charm

Wow, I just realized that this month is my 3 year anniversary of meeting my fiancee . I wish we were spending it together here in the U.S. I am still hoping she will be here before Christmas. Talk about a long road!

Regular weekends drag, so imagine extended holiday weekends...

I've always looked forward to the 3 day weekends. Now that we are in the middle of this process and depending on someone else being at work to do their job, it kills me to see us not making any progress . It's tough being away from the woman I love so dearly , what else can I do short of moving to her country? Patience, patience, patience!!!!

Sooooooooooooo sorry I missed the past couple of weeks. I had carpal tunnel surgery and can't type or use a mouse so I wasn't able to check this topic. So glad to hear now that everyone's getting approved. That's just so great. We did it!

Small update on my end: have yet to get anything from NVC. Hmmm... Another waiting game, I guess.

Again, congrats to everybody. I'm soooo happy for everyone.

I get my cast off next week, and should be able to talk with everyone again then.

Mirla- VSC stinks- stay positive- whenever I called a person always told me my case hadn't been assigned... even just the week before getting approved they told me they hadn't assigned my case- then no touches at all and tadaaa approval.

Welcome back...sorry to hear about your CTR. What cast? and why the restrictions on using a mouse? Did you have the percutaneous carpal tunnel release or the open? My patients don't get a cast and the fingers are left open for exercise...if you don't exercise they get stiff and swollen. Anyway, the worst is over...welcome back to the forum and the good news...
