Being that this is a three day weekend, I do not see much getting done at USCIS, although I am hoping I am wrong. I think we are all starting to get crazy from this wait. It appears 90 days is the breaking point for many of us May filers :blink: . I hope USCIS approves us soon! Good luck everybody.

And the most annoying thing is that they are NOT processing Feb cases...thats just their way of coverring their a$$es for their slow work!!

Mirla, i feel your frustration...you are almost 3 weeks ahead of me ,and not to have gotten a touch yet...USCIS needs to get their act together!

I've been waiting 116 days till today and thank God I recently started calling USCIS, I don't know what it would've felt like hearing the same VSC is currently processing dec. jan. feb. cases bull every month.

It seems like VSC or CSC only have two people in charge of K-1 files. They're ridiculously slow! Damn!

Enough is enough!

I know that USCIS claimed they raised their fees to maintain current processing goals but it apprears their processing times have also increased. What the heck :angry:

The reason i have kept quiet compared to howi was in thebeginning of the process is because i do think that my day is coming...sukc to be left in the dark, but it is coming....i think the threashold is 120 days....im at 101....Mirla you are even closer....your day is coming even sooner than mine!!! The one thing that would make me lose it.....An RFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying:

Shoot! Don't say that otherwise I will lose all kinds of hopes, lose more weight due to depression and finally ending up shooting myself!!!! hahahahaha! Imo, that can't happen....If they haven't asked you for evidence at 101 days, I don't think they will.....please take that off of your head!!!!

With the way hey handle things...think about it....my case has been in a bin since they got it....then finally one day the officer grabs my case looks it over and decides more evidence is needed...there is no way that i would have gotten any requests for evidence yet because my case hasnt even been touched.....unforunately , kind of makes sence

I seriously can't think of what kind of evidence they can ask for...We are not criminals, we sent pictures, prove that we've met out S.Os before, etc, what else could they want from us? Unless someone made a mistake filling out some info....right????

I don't wanna think anymore about this....it's just killing me.

Thats why i stopped thinking about it...my EX lawyer sent a very weak package if you ask me....2 pics, a letter and passport copies with my travels to Colombia.....whatever happens , happens,,,im prepared with like another 100 pics , over 500 e mails...proof of 3 more trips to see her...over 400 calling cards with phone bill records...etc/...

Don't worry Mirla, I'm sure everything will be just fine! I bet you will hear something very soon. From what I've seen on the other threads, only a small percentage of the filers get an RFE. Your happy day is coming :)

It's been a while since I've checked in with my Friday Rant/Rave. After reading the posts from the last couple of days, I can see most everyone is pretty much in the same frame of mind as I am. Just feeling a bit sad and a bit desperate as each day goes by with no indication whatsoever that an approval is coming.

100 days since I last saw my fiance

107 days since NOA1

119 days since Fed Ex'ing the K-1 packet.

That is my Rant.

The Rave... the "good news" is...

1.) I see May filers finally getting approvals so it gives me hope.

2.) I am finally moved in to my new house and will while away the time unpacking boxes and making the new place "home".

Find things to occupy your time is my advice. Get a bit of a jump start on small things that will welcome your honey bunny home when he/she finally gets here. Because chances are when they DO get here, you'll be far too "OCCUPIED" to get those other smaller things done!!!

2007:

February - May: extended visit to States, engagement.

5/4: I-129F sent (Texas Service Center, forwarded to California Service Center)

5/11: Petition received at California Service Center.

5/16: Check cleared. NOA1 online (no hard copy received yet)

6/19: NOA1 hard copy arrived FINALLY

7/16: Sent off for Police Certificate (U.K.)

8/22: TOUCHED due to phone call (RFE Trick, was told case wasn't assigned yet)

9/20:APPROVED!!! After 127 days from NOA1 and 139 days from filing date.

10/23: Spoke to Kelly at NVC who said they should have received our petition by now. She advised I send a copy of our NOA2 directly to the NVC office, which I did immediately. :-)

10/26: NVC RECEIVES CASE!

10/30: NVC SENDS CASE TO LONDON CONSULATE

11/1: Consulate receives case in London AND sends out Packet 3.

11/6: Sent Packet 3 to Consulate (we'd downloaded the forms on VJ and had them completed already)

11/22: Appointment for Medical.

2008:

01/08: Interview scheduled for 10 a.m. APPROVED!!!

02/01/08: Stephen comes to America!!!

I was hoping for more action this week. Stupid USCIS (stamping foot like a child) Get MOVING! :angry:

I got 2 NOA2s in the mail today, :blink: not sure what that's all about....

Well it's still early yet maybe they can squeeze a few out before closing time.

Another weekend without my finace, he's in the pub I would imagine with his 'mates' :( *sigh*

August 22, 2007 - called USCIS and found out we were APPROVED on August 18, 2007
