Well, I did call CSC again yesterday. I spoke with a nice lady there. She said my case has not been assigned to an officer yet :whistle: ...SO I guess we will not be getting our approval this week :crying: I hope maybe we will get some good news next week. It's been such a long time.

It's really hard to make plans with such a long and drawn out process. All we can do is be patient, the answer will come, but boy is it slow!!

Congrats to the latest VJers that received their approvals, the rest of us are waiting in line for our turn to get that pat on the back :thumbs::yes:

Taking a look at your timeline and using my highly unscientific method of guesstimating... I am figuring you will be getting some good news quite soon. And remember those officers at USCIS a lot of the time they just lie to get you off the phone, they lie like cheap rugs they lie! Keep the faith! :thumbs:

Our Time Line... April 18, 2007 - I-129F mailed to NSC

April 24, 2007 - I-129F received at NSC

May 18, 2007 - I-129F received at CSC

August 22, 2007 - called USCIS and found out we were APPROVED on August 18, 2007

August 22, 2007 - received email from CRIS, late afternoon, saying we were approved

September 10, 2007 - NVC RECEIVED! YAY!

September 12, 2007 - Left NVC on it's way to Dublin! WAHOOOO!

September 28, 2007 - Packet 3 Received

November 1, 2007 - Medical

November 8, 2007 - Packet 3 Sent to Embassy

December 7, 2007 INTERVIEW!!!

APPROVED!!!!

December 19, 2007 **Alan arrives in Seattle**

WEDDING DATE Valentines day 2008

February 25, 2008 - AOS Packet sent

March 24, 2008 - BIOMETRICS

April 30, 2008 - EAD APPROVED!

October 24 - INTERVIEW!!!!!!

December 11, 2008 - Approved! Green Card being generated. YAY!

May 29th Updated online, and sadly the last touch

May 30th - NOW Waiting, waiting and waitning, loosing patience....

August 30th APPPPROOOVVEEED NOA2 SENT!

Sept 10th - received NOA2 , dated on the 7th of Sept.

Sept 12th- file sent to UK

Sept 24th - received packet from US embassy (packet 3 is it?)

Sept 25th- sent off packet back to us embassy

Oct 12th- got interview date by calling US embassy

Oct 16th- medical exam in London , PASSED

Nov 1st - 8:30 am INTERVIEW AT US EMBASSY!!!!!!!!!!!!![

FINAL APPROVAL- Nov 1st!!!! Passport to be mailed with visa attached in 3-5 days!! YIPPEEEEEE

Nov 20th- Dave flies over for Thanksgiving & Forever!!!

sooo i Got touched today! just posted and then went and checked 8/30/07

i called last thursday but nothing changed until now? even so just nice to see it change do you think it's from the phone call i did the phone trick... at that point it hadn't been assigned to anybody.....

May 23rd checked cashed, NOA1 issued

May 29th Updated online, and sadly the last touch

May 30th - NOW Waiting, waiting and waitning, loosing patience....

Sept 10th - received NOA2 , dated on the 7th of Sept.

is anybody having problems with their timeline? mine looks fine when i view it, but when i see it in detailed form in a search it has I-130 dates in it. i only filed an i-129. everytime i go to edit timeline, it doesn't show the i-130 dates and i can't change them. i noticed a few other people in the searches that look like they had the same problem. i hope i can get it fixed so it doesn't screw up anyone else's projections. :wacko:

May 19, 2008--move to the US

June 6, 2008--marriage

July 12, 2008--filed I-485 and I-765

July 14, 2008--NOA for both

October 3, 2008--work permit received

Sept. 24, 2007: Hard copy NOA 2 received in mail

Oct. 25, 2007: Papers arrived at NVC

Oct. 29, 2007: Papers left NVC: enroute to Bucharest YAY!!

Nov. 2, 2007: Packet 3 mailed from embassy

Nov. 8, 2007: Packet 3 received, medical and interview scheduled by phone

Nov. 12, 2007: Medical appointment completed

Nov. 13, 2007: Interview in Bucharest: VISA APPROVED!!

JANUARY 12, 2008: THE WEDDING

2/15/08 Married :)

3/3/08 AOS etc application sent

3/14/08 Application packet returned...signed in wrong spot

3/17/08 Corrected packet resubmitted

3/24/08 Called USCIS to learn packet was being returned again due to another error

PACKET NEVER ARRIVED _ LOST AT USCIS....WAITING FOR EXPLANATION/INSTRUCTIONS

5/12/08 Sent a new application with cover letter explaining situation

5/19/08 NOAs

5/20/08 Check cashed...FINALLY

6/10/08 Biometrics

6/20/08 AOS transferred to CSC

6/23/08 AOS touched - again 6/30 (probably received in CA)

7/9/08 AOS touched

7/10/08 AOS touched...come on CSC :)

7/18/08 EAD approved!!!!!! Card prodution ordered (67 days from filing)

7/28/08 Email saying EAD card mailed out today....but it was in the mailbox when I got home!!!!! Finally!!!

8/20/08 Email that AOS application is approved!!!! (100 days from time final application sent)

For all you May filers who have been approved, please start a new thread. It would be nice to continue this support group throughout this entire visa process. Good luck to the rest of us May filers who are still waiting for approval. We are getting close. :thumbs::thumbs:
