Hey guys...I am jealous !! All I want is a touch !!! I called CSC twice today. Spoke to two different people...got different answers about the application receipt date. The NOA1 says May 7th...but NOA1 was sent on May 30th. Both of them said they are working on February applications at this time and I should wait 6 months before considering my application outside the allotted time frame....we all know that is a lie. My request to assign my application fell on deaf ears...just have to wait...and keep harassing them until they pull the file off the shelf !!!

You know what? Don't listen to them! They don't even know where their heads are at.....We obviously know some may files had been approved so far and that website it is not updated!

Congrats Clarky and Tarah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It feels like they are starting to move at VCS now!!! With my NOA1 being from the 21st of May , i can't be too far now...it's getting exciting now!!

So I tried to call again but this time I chose option 2...for spanish press 2! haha! I thought they might help without asking me to be the petitioner.......soooo guess what? Same answer, they told me VSC is processing February applications so he was obviously reading his screen! He also said I just have to wait.....wait....wait......waitttttttttt!!!!!! And I said GREAT! hahaha! It was denifitely a big waste of money to have hired a lawyer to do the K1 process cause I still have to call USCIS...If I knew about this website, I'm sure I would have been able to do it by myself and all the help here.....

I read on the other thread that VSC had approved 11 may filers! And 30 left to go! Also, 6 july filers left....

I just found that thread Looks like I'm number 14 and two couples, also with my same date, already got approved!!! I don't understand how they work on the cases....Do you? heh heh.

I hope we hear some more good news! I was really hoping for more May approvals today. But heck remember according to the officer I was approved on a Saturday someone is working weekends so don't lose hope!

OK *BIG SIGH* another looooong weekend... yeah I know I got approved and all but the weekends, even after approval are miserable and lonely...the time difference doesn't help much either (8 hours!) we only have a few hours in a day to actually connect. I just miss him...

OK enough of me being sad, I dont' want to make all you guys sad too, we need to stay positive! Good things are comin' our way! We WILL get through this!

I have called USCIS twice now and did not receive a touch either time afterwards. They also gave me the stock answer they gave you regarding processing February applications. In addition they said it could take up to six months to get my NOA2. Yeah right.

We called CSC too today and got the same "We are processing Feb applications now" story. And no touch either, doubt that person even checked the status. Well, I hope all us May filers get approved soon!

we got approved Aug 23... i am really sorry but i dont have a clear picture of what will happen next.

i dont know if this is too much to ask, but if its ok...can somebody tell me what is going to happen now, or what should i expect, or what should i do as early as now to make sure everything will be prepared...

i have been trying to read some threads, but i ended up confused. i think its information overload, and the sad part is i am now confused.

can somebody give me a clearer picture of the step by step process now that i have the approval.

If you just got approved you're in step No.4 right now, your case will be forwarded to the National Visa Center (step no.5) then the NVC will forward the case to the U.S. Consulate of your fiance's country (step no.6). what you need to do is start preparing and reading about the forms your fiance will be required to complete when she receives a package from the Embassy (Package 3). These are the forms (except the I-129F that you already sent): K-1 Forms

Read here also: K-1 Step by Step especially the part where it says "WHAT TO SEND TO YOUR FIANCE ONCE YOUR CASE IS APPROVED".

That's awesome!!! It must be something you'll see. Anyways, I read in some post that someone got a touch on sunday and I don't think it has to do anything with you calling. I've called 3 or 4 times so far and never got a touch.

I'm sure you'll get good news tomorrow...but if you can't wait...call!! They might tell you, your case has being assigned Who knows...or they tell you they approved it over the weekend!!!!
