Well I called CSC today, my petition is at day 103. I hoping with all this movement in CSC that it will be soon. Ive called three times to CSC, and that is the only touches i have recieved. Keeping positive with this month being the month for our approval. The person that i talked with today said that a estimate would be maybe a week or two till my petition is looked over. I hope that this is the month.

May 18, 2007 - I-129F received at CSC

August 22, 2007 - called USCIS and found out we were APPROVED on August 18, 2007

August 22, 2007 - received email from CRIS, late afternoon, saying we were approved

September 10, 2007 - NVC RECEIVED! YAY!

I hope everyone here will keep up with the thread even after receiving their NOA2's. It would be cool to have this thread continue through the entire Immigration process.... right up to the wedding dates and/or AOS's!!! I've grown accustomed to the little icons (and posts) of all my fellow May Filers!!!

First things first tho.... COME ON NOA2's!!!

NO MAY FILER LEFT BEHIND!!!! WOOOOT!!!!!

2007:

February - May: extended visit to States, engagement.

5/4: I-129F sent (Texas Service Center, forwarded to California Service Center)

5/11: Petition received at California Service Center.

5/16: Check cleared. NOA1 online (no hard copy received yet)

6/19: NOA1 hard copy arrived FINALLY

7/16: Sent off for Police Certificate (U.K.)

8/22: TOUCHED due to phone call (RFE Trick, was told case wasn't assigned yet)

9/20:APPROVED!!! After 127 days from NOA1 and 139 days from filing date.

10/23: Spoke to Kelly at NVC who said they should have received our petition by now. She advised I send a copy of our NOA2 directly to the NVC office, which I did immediately. :-)

10/26: NVC RECEIVES CASE!

10/30: NVC SENDS CASE TO LONDON CONSULATE

11/1: Consulate receives case in London AND sends out Packet 3.

11/6: Sent Packet 3 to Consulate (we'd downloaded the forms on VJ and had them completed already)

11/22: Appointment for Medical.

2008:

01/08: Interview scheduled for 10 a.m. APPROVED!!!

02/01/08: Stephen comes to America!!!

Ok you May filers, a little good news for our little group!!! I called CSC today, I was told that our petition was taken off the shelf and placed in a batch to be assigned to a case officer...Hopefully within this next week we should be getting some solid results. I'm assuming a batch includes many of you guys. Good luck everyone!!!

Hmm...I guess the people at CSC are more in the loop than those in VSC. I have called twice and each time I am given the whole song and dance about not being out of processing times blah, blah, blah.

I guess I have to wait until I get that approval e-mail (thinking positive...no RFEs).

Oh yeah, and I am TOTALLY for keeping this thread going after we all get our NOA2's (it will happen sooner or later :) ). This is the first thread I check in the morning and the last I check before going to bed. I don't intend to abandon it anytime soon :)

Yessss, let's keep this thread going!!! I also do the same thing, this is the first thread I open as soon as I wake up and before going to bed! hahaha!

I'm also from VSC and haven't got any touches yet.... :( I'll call tomorrow, let's see what they say! But I'm still thinkin positive!!! :D

I just check the processing times for VSC and last week they were on January 13 now they updated to February....??? That's what USCIS told me a month ago but I don't think that is updated, right???? If it is, how come other people from April, May, June and even July got their NOA2 already....!! It just doesn't make sense.....Right?!?!??! :wacko:

That is wonderful news for you. It appears you got a very quick embassy interview date!!! I can only hope Moscow will be as quick (I have heard about 2 months after they get the packet from NVC). Maybe it will be quicker----again---CONGRATULATIONS!!!

If the Moscow embassy is like the Prague embassy, then you can call the embassy and schedule the appointment as soon as you get Packet 3. Fiancee visas are handled in a different part of the embassy than tourist visas so its not a busy. For Prague at least you have to call the embassy directly to schedule rather than using the online system which is usually for tourists. Im pretty sure thats why our was quick; that and the fact that we had volumes of papers ready for the interview so not to leave anything to question.
