Has anyone out their gotten their NOA2 without having received their NOA1 Hard Copy?

Aug16-called again about never receiving hard copy

Aug 17-"touch"

It sounds like the touches might have been triggered by the call you made. Was the call concerning the processing of your NOA1? If so they might be generating it for you to be sent out. I've read where some people on here have received their NOA2 without ever getting a hardcopy NOA1.

Charlene you can fill all that info out in your signature and it will display each time you post. Then it would be easy to update once you receive your NOA2 some people do receive their NOA2 without they receiving their NOA1 and not even a single touch. good luck.

I have been with Irina almost every month for several months... I fly to Kiev and she takes a train. We spend 7-10 days together at a time. We are both anxiously waiting for the NOA2...some good news should be coming soon...

I don't think the NOA1 matters as long as you have a processing status on the USCIS website. At least that's what they keep assuring me when I call It's not like the NOA1 means anything anyways, all it's saying is they've received your package and put it in a pile - same as status on their website.

I mailed my package in the end of April and have been showing received 5/1 and pending on the website, though I never got an email or hard copy until about 7/27. The only worrisome part is the hardcopy doesn't show a "received date" or "priority date". Only a notice date of 7/26.

I'm thinking about making an appointment at my local field office just to actually talk to someone face-to-face although I don't know how much it will help. I'll post what they say in this topic. Hopefully I'll get the NOA2 before I get a chance to go in!

P.S. on a sidenote, can someone tell me how to link timelines to signatures and photos to your name? I'm not too savvy...

Yeah, a lot of people suffered in this earthquake...they had lost everything, it hit the south very hard, that's where the epicenter was. At least this weekend I wasn't thinking a lot (as usually) about my NOA2 because I was helping to classify all the donations that we are collecting for the people in the south who had lost everything.

You're lucky you have been with Irina almost every month!!! I haven't seen Patrick in exactly 2 months and I just can't wait to get my NOA2 so I can see him very very soon!!!!

I'm sure we all are gonna get some good news this week!!!! The weekend is finally OVER!!!

We've been waiting it out, he said he didn't ever want to ever say good bye again as it was unbearable to do so. Well, this has way has been pretty unbearable too, but at least we are getting closer to the mid point now. *sigh*

What exactly is this infamous RFE trick. Sounds like a tool I may need in the near future. Currently I am at 80 days since NOA1 was issued.

Hi Friends!

I'm so excited for this upcoming week -- I think it's our time to shine! But I'm def. going to give them a call tomorrow because I STILL have not gotten the NOA1 (although I did get a letter saying that I will be getting an NOA1, lol - should have just sent it then, lol) and also I sent in my app. May 9th so I think I am due for my NOA2! I saw a couple other ppl from CSC --> Brazil that got thier NOA2 in nearly in 3 mo exactly- so I want mine now -- hehe.

Besides that, I've done everything I possibly can to prepare and busy myself while waiting - now I'm just going slightly crazy...maybe more than slightly :0)

I know the feeling! Over 7 months since I've seen Sevi, 95+ days since sending the petition to CSC. I even tried the RFE trick about the NOA1 (still haven't received), and still no touches to boot! GRRRR
