RAMZIS' VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!!! He called me at 2:30 a.m. this morning (10:30 a.m. in Moscow). I don't have many details, but he got there at 7:00 a.m. to be first in line and he was calling me by 10:30 a.m. He said they began letting them in at 8:30 and they don't start working until 9:00 a.m. So I don't think it took very long. Monday is a holiday (International day of women) which is celebrated across Europe, so all businesses will be closed on Monday (ugh---another day lost), but hopefully he will have his visa on Tuesday or Wed, fly here on Thursday and we'll be married on Friday (do you think it is at all possible that the government would work with me on this timeline?!) Ramzis got his visa, packet, etc., at the DHL office in Moscow this morning, he will be on a flight tomorrow morning and be in Michigan tomorrow afternoon!!!! The patient one is absolutely jumping out of her skin today!!!! We will be married on Saturday, March 15, 2007. Is this really happening? Wowwowowowowowowowowow: VJ RULES!!! Alane, the 7th is coming up quickly (although I know it doesn't feel like it!) I'm so excited for you!! And when he gets here, the days before the wedding will just fly by in glorious fashion. And then you'll be joining me on cloud nine! I still can't believe that after 12 1/2 years as a couple, we're finally married!! Pinching myself doesn't make it seem any more real to me

Zee, your time is just around the corner, too! I'm so excited for the both of you as well! They say that the best things in life come to those who wait and I think the three of us (you, Alane and I) have done more than our fair share of waiting! The best thing in the world for me is finally here...for forever and the best for you is coming very soon! Wow..Marta!! Long time, no see !! Congrats to you on your wedding as well! How are things going for you and Scott? It's so nice to see us all finally moving on to the next part of this process. At least we're with our spouses this time. Looks like we have the same AOS dates (well..what's a day!) Keep me posted!

Hehe yeah Things are great. My family came over here for the wedding so it was a lot of fun I must say I adapted very fast although I didn´t really wanna move to USA and live here. I have no problem with anything at all anymore. Maybe it´s because I spent 5 months in USA last year. We are very happy You must be so excited after so many years things are finally working out for you

And yes, I'm so very happy and so is he! Now he's just wondering why it took him so long to make the decision..oh well..he did and after so many years we're finally happily married.

Did you post on the AOS March filers thread yet? It's still kind of a quiet thread, but Feb is moving. Hopefully this part of the process won't be as long as the last, but either way, we won't be waiting without our SO's

Thank you Well like you probably already found out I started posting in that abandoned March thread like you did. It´s cuz it´s the first thing that comes up if you run a search for the thread...so I already relocated to the busier one

I don´t mind this kind of waiting at all...it feels so nice when you can hug the person you love every day without having to count the days till you or him/she have to leave again...cuz now we aren´t just "vacationing"
