Hi everyone! Just a question...

Does anyone know what happens if you are not at home when they try to deliver the visa? My fiance works all day and most likely will not be there when they deliver it. I just don't want a major delay on things because he won't be there during the times they try to deliver it. Anyone know? Thank you!

And congrats on the happy wedding news and all the other approved visas/interviews/etc!

That depends on which delivery company or mail service the embassy uses. They should've said at the interview approx. how long it would take and if he'd get it by mail or courier. Try contacting the embassy and let them know the situation and maybe they can help.

Oct. 22, 2007 - NOA2 Hard Copy received!! No email/website update.

Nov. 16, 2007 - Paperwork found & received by NVC!

Hi everyone! Just a question...

Hi there! They said it would take around 11 days and I do not know if they said if it would be by courier or by mail. It is hard to contact the embassy because their phone hours are 1-3 PM Mon thru Thurs which is 4-6 AM MY time. I'd have to get up in the middle of the night to call. Oh well, its just me finding a way to worry again, most likely needlessly, but I guess I won't be 100% satisfied until he HAS that visa IN his hands. Thanks!! :)

Have it delivered to the dhl office and let him pick it up there.

YEA!! Congrats Jen!! And it didn't even take 11 days!! They told my fiance that it'd be a week, but we knew better...only took 2 days. Congrats again! :thumbs:
