My fiance's interview was successful. He got approved yesterday. My journey here is slowing coming to an end. Thank you guys for your support and being there just to listen to me vent! Special Thanks to Zee for holding me together...days before the interview. Girl, you have a heart of gold and you will be blessed. Thank you all!

April 8, 2007 - Visited the love of my life in Nigeria

April 10, 2007 - Engaged

May 21, 2007 - Sent Package to VSC

May 24, 2007 - NOA1 receipt date

August 10, 2007 - Visited the love of my life in Nigeria (again...stayed three weeks)

September 1, 2007 - arrived back in the States

November 5, 2007 - approved!!!

November 6, 2007 - touched

November 9, 2007 - received paper NOA2

November 9, 2007 - NVC forwarded case to consulate

November 15, 2007 - received letter from NVC

November 19, 2007 - fiance has interview date and corresponding forms

December 15, 2007 - Purchase Ticket

January 8, 2008- interview at consulate (approved!)

January 18, 2008- pick up visa

January 19, 2008 - POE (JFK)

February 14, 2008 - married on V-day!

03/15/2008 - NOA's for : I-485, I-131 & I-765

03/16/2008 - Case online.

03/22/2008 - Biometrics assigned date: 04/01/2008, Bio completed early .

03/24/2008 - AOS Touched.

03/27/2008 - RFE Letter : Dated.

03/31/2008 - RFE snail mail rec'd date ( EZ-864 / Missing birth certificate).

04/01/2008 - Mailed RFE response.

04/03/2008 - RFE document delivered to Lees Summit, MO @ 4:03 P.M:

04/07/2008 - AOS Touched, Current status: Response to rfe received, and case processing has resumed.

04/08/2008 - AOS Touched.

Congratulations!!!!!!

My fiance had his medical visit and he passed, so now we are just waiting on him to get my divorce decree in the mail (didnt know we'd need it for his interview so I just sent it) and then we can return the Packet 3 and get our interview date.

Its exciting to see how many May filers are done with the process or are close to getting done!

I've been told by NVC and DOS that our documents were definitely shipped dhl on 12/21. NOBODY could give me a dhl tracking #. As of yesterday, the embassy emailed me saying they have not received them yet. I'm hoping that really means they just haven't been through the backlog of mail since the Christmas and New Year holidays. Any suggestions from anyone?

7/4/2006 visited for 1 week in Russia (Independence Day!)

12/26/06 three week visit in the U.S.

4/6/07 He came to US for 6 glorious weeks

5/20/07 He returned to Ufa, RU

5/24/07 Mailed I-129F to NSC!!!!!

Sandi (u2rsobad) YAY we have interviews real close to each other! Look at that :) The light can be seen at the end of this tunnel! KEEP ME POSTED!!!!!!!!

My fiance won't be coming until the beginning of April though as he is tied into a contract at work until the end of March. At least that will give him some extra time to prepare for the big move, spend some quality time with his family, and prepare everything that needs to be prepared. This is a HUGE MOVE he is making for ME and I think it is amazing!! Two and a half more months isn't so long to wait I guess :)

I think I waited more time for my Oath Ceremony schedule rather than interview process and after 13 minutes the lady gave my sched WOW CAN'T BELIEVE ......yayyyyyyy
