Interviewed at US embassy in Moscow today. Visa approved!

She said the man was very kind and only asked a few questions about herself and me and then wished her good luck in America.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to my fellow May filers and I hope all those still stuck in some bureaucratic backwater will be processed out soon.

Congratulations!! What a great belated Christmas present!!

As far as our case, I called the NVC again today.... Nov 16th through Dec 26th we've been waiting now for our petition to be sent from the NVC and I was hoping to call and they'd say it had been sent.... but it is still sitting there. I hope it is sent soon because this is driving me crazy just having it sit there and not having any idea why. I will call again sometime next week.

My fiance hasn't been given an interview date yet by the embassy in Japan. He was told to wait until he has all documents in hand (apparently a recent change) before he can file the remainder of the forms online and get his interview date. He is supposed to get his translated birth certificate back today and then will send it all in :) I hope we get a date this week!
