We got our interview date!!!!!!!!!!!

My mahal's interview is January 3, 2008!

She'll be home just after the New Year!

I'm a little bummed that she won't be here for the Holidays, but it's no matter. We'll get to enjoy a full year before we celebrate our first holidays together.

So I can look at it in a positive way.

Eight (8) is the number of "New Beginning!"

Tonight i realized how much all of you guys prayers were needed!! I ate dinner and then Leidy's mom called me, so we called Leidy 3 way and started talking to her since they moved hr out of the intensive care unit...so we were talking then Leidy started telling something that i didnt know and that made me start shaking and i had to tell Leidy and her mom to hold oncause i felt my food coming up my chest, she told me that they had to use the machine that gives you an electric shock to try to bring you back when your heart stops!! I couldnt believe what i was hearing!! So basically Leidy was gone for a moment!!! This is why i say that all your prayers are SOOO appreciated!!!! Thank God she is getting better now!!!!!!! I could not imagine having to deal with something happening to her!!!!

I've been praying for strength for both of you I'm glad they've moved her out of ICU, that's a good sign..everything will get better and you'll be together soon. Keep the faith

Finally!!! After speaking to 3 supervisors at CSC, USCIS and NVC..they finally found our paperwork. NVC received it last Friday and it's leaving NVC for Tokyo today and I got my new case number. I'm so excited!! What a rollercoaster of emotions over the last few weeks, I'm so glad this part is over! Thanks so much to all of my friends here at VJ for your support! (I just realized that I spelled "fianlly" wrong on the other thread..too excited to type I guess )

Called today and NVC has my petition as of yesterdays date. 17 days from NOA-2 email to petition being received by NVC. The lady told me that the packet should be sent out to embassy in Bogota Friday. My estimate is an interview date in January.
