I saw a pretty hopefull post on the April filers thread, the guy said if his research was correct than something like 101 of 139 April VJ filers have been approved. So that really means May filers are proably being processed NOW.

Ok so I am sitting here and work and decided to check the USCIS web page and I got another touch. So I am going to hit my knees right now and start praying for a quick descion. I am sure they are working on May files.

The worst part of it is that the trips to see her are not cheap..i have gone to Colombia to see her 3 times after the time i met her and have spent a combined $7000, between flights and spending while there..I am NO millionaire!!!! .....and to top it off with her pregnant and not being able to be with her...kills me!!!!!!!!

Alright the most up to date news I have is this. I was reading some posts on the General forum about calling about your case if you got a bunch of touches in a row. Soo me being the wishfull thinker that I am called USCIS to see if my case had maybe just maybe been approved. Well no such luck but what the nice young lady did say was this. That she would request for my case to be assigned to an officer which takes one day. And after that they would make a decsion as to whether it was approved or needed more evidence. I recommend that alot more May filiers call about your case status. What do you guys think?????????????

I know what you mean. I work very many hours for the money that I have.(Not much!)

In October I will fly to China for thge second time this year.

I spend about a solid month researching the internet for cheap Tickets.

First time, March - $848.00 to Hong Kong @ www.Hotwire.com

2nd , October - $994.00 to Guangzhou @ www.Flychina.com

You can find good prices. But you may have 2 or three stops before you get there.

If I were a millionaire, I will go to China once a month. First Class! But this is not the case.

I wonder if that is possible , that they assign the case to an officer that will expedite it in one day?? If so why doesnt everybody do that...A little skeptical about that but fefinately let us know if something happens tmb81!!!!!!!!!!!

I was skeptical when she told me this so I asked her for some clarification on it. And she told me that she would request that my case be assigned to an officer and it would take one buisness day to do. And depending on the case workers load it could take up to 30 days to make a descion as to whether they needed more evidence, or if the case was approved.

Maybe it's something that happens when you get as many touches as you did. Im not sure. This is the first time i have heard of this. You are roughly 10 days ahead of me, and i think you are close. Hopefully that doesnt delay you instead of make it quicker for you. I think the average for NOA2 is somewhere between 80-90 days.

I see we both have been getting the same kind of touches. 07/08/09 lets hope we get another one today and that we'll be approved sometime next week. Good luck to all May filers It's our time now!!!!! Something have to happen by the end of this month or i think i'll just start sounding of

Darn it, my estimated day has been moving back a day each day. Now it's August 22nd. So what is that...12 more days? I can't seem to get out of that timeframe! Whenever I get close to being 10 days away, VJ moves the date back! Quit it!!!!

I really really wonder why our Vermont filers haven't seen more action. I know I said that before, but I thought they would get approved at a least a month before the Cali filers. And it makes me nervous for my Cali case that our Vermont people aren't even being touched right now...Hmmm....

Well, all we can do is continue to wait. And wait. And then, maybe, wait some more. Hopefully in a week or so, the floodgates will open and this topic will be nothing but congrats!

Byron-Leidy, this must REALLY difficult for you as your finacee is pregnant. I hope you get some REALLY GREAT news soon!
