Hey guys, i finally got packet 4 in the mail today!!!! My interview date is December 18th. I was hoping that i would have gotten a date for some time in November, but that's not the case. I would like to leave on December 28th and that gives me no time to do anything. That week in going to be pure madness for me. Anyway i wont let that worry me right now.

:( I just called CSC to find out if my paperwork has been sent to NVC yet (I called NVC earlier today and it had not been rec'd). I told her that although I'd received my NOA2 on 10/22..dated 10/18, the website had not been updated. She looked up my case number and said that I had in fact been approved, but my paperwork can remain in the mail staging area for up to 60 days and that NVC knows they're behind and will extend the dates if necessary. She said they wait and send out large crates at a time and that when the next crate was full, it'd probably be sent out. She was very pleasant, but said that she has no other information that she could give me, but I could call to check on it any time.

Looks like another long frustrating wait. :(

The guy I talked to this morning said that they're having problems with the Mailing Contractors and that the petition could be at the Staging Area for "up to 90 days." I told him I'm willing to pick it up and send it out myself if that's the case. :)

It seems they have been using this same story for several months now. If they know something is broken why are they not fixing it? How difficult can it be to hire another mail contractor?

WE'RE DONE!!!!

Amazing amazing amazing. I was getting ready to leave for work- i get up early- and called Dave to find out what happened with his interview this morning at 8 am!!!! I figured he might not have been done yet as all the other reviews said it was really long waiting!! and we're donnnnnnneeeee he was approved- im so excited i almost don't know what to do with myself- i'm sure he's just walking around london now in a daze- His response was ' you can go email all your friends that I'll be there by thanksgiving and go post on visa journey to all those friends too' haha

Anyway he said it was really straight forward and that he actually got the impression from the people who were interviewing him that they were happy we were getting together- imagine that. With that said we did send an absurd about of supporting documents (4 years worth of dating plane tickets photos telephone bills etc) and had copies of everything and additional documents incase they asked any questions.

i'm imaging concentrating at work today will be near impossible!!!

much love to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
