Hello Everyone,,, as of 8 pm, yesterday 10-24-07, me and Mercy are approved. Didn't get an email but looked on USCIS website and the notice was there, stating 10-24-07, they mail our 797. Best wishes to the rest that are waiting.Hope you all will get good news soon

my fiance called NVC a while ago and they said they don't have a record of our case from uscis. meaning, uscis haven't transported it yet to nvc.

it's more than 7 days already since our noa2 approval date. i hope it will be sent until end of the month.

can anybody here draft a letter that the USC fiance can send to their senators/congressmen in order to fasten up the schedule of sending our cases to nvc? please.. please..please...

I found out my mother only makes about 20,000 a year. I am having NO luck in finding a job. Is 20,000 enough? I have 2 children and am living with my mother and she is married to my step father. I am freaking out! What are the legalities of being a co sponser? Basically meaning what exactly is a co sponser for? I understand that they do not want the fiance to be a public charge in the US. But I am just not understanding exacly what a co sponser is promising and so on. I looked for articles about this before asking here but I must be a complete idiot. I am starting to stress hard core. If anyone can link me to information about the co sponsering and so on it would be wonderful. Also can people have more than 1 co sponser?

Question: If *prays that they dont* IF they deny the visa what can be done next? Or are we just screwed? sad.gif I do NOT want to think that was however it is very hard to not think "WHAT IF?"

I'm so sorry to hear about the situation; I know that 20,000 a year is over thet poverty limit but I am not sure how many dependents you can have on that. Are you listed as a dependent on that? You might be able to find this information out at something as simiple as a basic phone call to somewhere like H & R block or googling it. I think for the b est info you should start a new thread in it's own forum to see if any other people who were in this situation and what they did how it moves forward etc. best wishes!!!!

FINAL APPROVAL- Nov 1st!!!! Passport to be mailed with visa attached in 3-5 days!! YIPPEEEEEE

Just an update with my case! its still the same! still sitting at CSC some where!!! I was approved on Oct 10!! Have any cases been moved to NVC since then or around that time frame?? its only been about 2wks so i'm not surprised its still sitting, but curious how everyone else was doin!!!

WOW, I actually got a touch, it says that they received the requested evidence ( a missing signature on a form) and that now the case processing has resumed....it says i will be notified by mail within 60 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! .....Please tell me that this is just due process and that it really doesnt take that long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
