I called CSC today to check and see if my RFE information had arrived. The operator told me it could be several weeks for the paperwork to be received and placed "in the system". I told him it had been physically received at CSC because I had the confirmatiom receipt, but he said with the volume of paperwork received at CSC on a daily basis, it can take several weeks to be checked in and sent to the correct officer. :crying:

The operator also asked me about previous inquiries on my account and told me every instance where I had called to speak with someone. I had a good explination for the calls and he didn't say anything after I gave my response. So, it does look like they make a note each time you call about your petition. I won't be calling anymore! I'll just wait for the email or hard copy! :innocent:

how do u check if NVC received our case? we got our noa2 last week, i hope it wont be on other endless wait. i am really tired of this whole waiting game.

You can call NVC at 603-334-0700. In fact, your approval notice will tell you to call if more than 4 weeks pass between your NOA 2 and NVC receiving it. The sad part is people (like me) and others have waited almost 5 weeks or longer in some cases, and NVC still doesn't have it. Calling them didn't yield a whole lot of information; however, that is how you can find out if it's there yet or not. Otherwise you can just wait for a letter to arrive in your snail mail from NVC, at which point the papers will have been forwarded to the embassy. :thumbs: Hopefully you will not have such a long wait! Who was it that said, "These are the times which try men's souls"???!!!! :wacko::blink::wacko:

May 4, 2007: Filed I 129-F at CSC

May 24, 2007: NOA 1

Sept. 20, 2007: APPROVAL NOA 2 !!! (Day 139)

Sept. 24, 2007: Hard copy NOA 2 received in mail

Oct. 25, 2007: Papers arrived at NVC

Oct. 29, 2007: Papers left NVC: enroute to Bucharest YAY!!

Nov. 2, 2007: Packet 3 mailed from embassy

Nov. 8, 2007: Packet 3 received, medical and interview scheduled by phone

Nov. 12, 2007: Medical appointment completed

Nov. 13, 2007: Interview in Bucharest: VISA APPROVED!!

JANUARY 12, 2008: THE WEDDING

VSC has been dissapointing me recently with their numbers- it is time to make up for slacking off!

May 30th - NOW Waiting, waiting and waitning, loosing patience....

August 30th APPPPROOOVVEEED NOA2 SENT!

Sept 10th - received NOA2 , dated on the 7th of Sept.

Sept 12th- file sent to UK

Sept 24th - received packet from US embassy (packet 3 is it?)

Sept 25th- sent off packet back to us embassy

Oct 12th- got interview date by calling US embassy

Oct 16th- medical exam in London , PASSED

Nov 1st - 8:30 am INTERVIEW AT US EMBASSY!!!!!!!!!!!!![

FINAL APPROVAL- Nov 1st!!!! Passport to be mailed with visa attached in 3-5 days!! YIPPEEEEEE

Nov 20th- Dave flies over for Thanksgiving & Forever!!!

I was just about to say the same thing. I have not heard of a May filers packet making it to NVC as of todays date. Would be interested in finding out if anyones has and how long it took.
