Congratulations to new approvees   . I hope you get your RFE sorted out quickly Byron. The whole point of hiring a lawyer is to fend off those RFE's.

Congratulations for recent approvals. I am still waiting for more evidence to be sent from my family in Thailand as part of the RFE I got.

As a frequent observer to these forums, I must say that most RFE's I've seen happen when someone uses a lawyer.

Its also very nice to see some frequent nervous posters get their long overdue NOA2's. I hope the rest of you get out of our (July's) way! :)

Visa took too long, grew apart and withdrew visa after six months.

Approved!

Our touch on Oct 18th was the first and only. Suppose it was the approval and NOA2 being sent out.

We only found out yday Oct 22, when the hard copy NOA2 arrived via snail mail. Sure glad it didn't get lost...

In other words, the USCIS status page still says "received and pending" on June 11th. The portfolio page has the touch, i.e. last updated on Oct 18th. Though naturally it doesn't say in what way.

This seems to happen on occasion, some get no hard copy, some get no e-mail etc.

Regardless, we are thrilled and hope to be reunited by the holidays.

Hey USCIS: Thanks!

but

:girlwerewolf2xn:

others are waiting! So get cracking...

Good luck to you all!

Right, so as NVC still has no record of receiving our case which was approved on SEPTEMBER 20 FFS!, I called them AGAIN this morning and talked to a live person (thanks, Annette! MUAH!). Her name was Kelly and she was great.

She said it should've been there by now (finally, an HONEST response). She told me to send a copy of my NOA2 directly to the NVC. I am going to do that today. So, those of you who have been waiting more than 3 or 4 weeks for your case to get to the NVC, you might want to do the same.

Yes, Congrats to the newly approved!!:dance: That is an awesome feeling after all those agonizing months of waiting!!

Thanks Sienna, for the info. I am going to do that. I contacted my senator's office yesterday by faxing a letter; and I was surprised that today they called me asking for more details so that they could investigate the ridiculous delay in mailing out approvals to NVC. I was happy that they are going to make an effort on our behalf to get CSC to mail our documents to NVC. Maybe this week they will send out our papers!

This delay between NOA2 and NVC receiving the case is absolutely unacceptable. All they have to do is STICK IT IN THE FRIGGIN MAIL!!!!!!

I don't know what else to do. I mailed our NOA2 notice to NVC this morning myself in hopes that it'll at least raise some questions over there.

Plus, with the UK postal strike, everything is bound to take much longer for us. I mailed my fiance the original copy of the NOA2 the day after we received it (Sept. 24) and he just got it this morning.
