Ok, I mailed off my RFE information on Saturday, Oct 20 it arrived this morning (Oct 22) and has been signed for (before 7 am, WOW, they work early at CSC). Let's see how long it takes for them to get the approval done (NOA-2). My file was already touched this morning, so I hope that has to do with them scanning the RFE document. FINGERS CROSSED FOR A SPEEDY APPROVAL!

Oh yeah. I have been reading the sad stories about being without your SO's. I am sad for some of you, 1 year without seeing them!? WOW!!! I couldn't handle it. I travel to see my fiance every two months, but only because it is a 3 hour plane ride for me.

One day we will be able to wake up next to the ones we love and know that this long and rough journey was well worth it. Positive thoughts!

Yes, I posted it earlier in this forum. Everyone's worst nightmare, the officer reviewing my paperwork OVERLOOKED a document that was in the packet. I got the RFE for not having it in the packet. I just resent the same info and hope for the best!

:angry: Overlooked! :protest: How can they keep overlooking things like that...I have heard this several times from people...they just happen to overlook...it´s not like the packet we have to send has 500 pages :angry: If they put so much pressure on the employees due to their backlog, that the employees overlook pages, then they should seriously get much more staff...

This problem could have been resolved by a simple phone call from the officer. How ridiculous.

Oct. 22, 2007 - NOA2 Hard Copy received!! No email/website update.

Nov. 16, 2007 - Paperwork found & received by NVC!

Jan. 7, 2008 - Finally got the interview date

Jan. 28, 2008 - Interview!! Approved!!!

Feb. 12, 2008 - Arrives in USA!!!

Feb. 18, 2008 - Wedding Day!!!!!!

Feb. 19, 2008 - Apply for SSN

AOS Timeline:

Mar. 12, 2008 - Packet mailed (AOS, EAD, & AP)

Mar. 12, 2008 - Husband's SSN arrives

Mar. 14, 2008 - AOS pkt was delivered at 7:52 AM & signed for by V BUSTAMANTE.

Mar. 18, 2008 - Check cashed!!

Mar. 21, 2008 - NOA's for AOS, EAD & I-131!! (Dated 3-18-08)

Mar. 31, 2008 - Can finally see AP & EAD online!!

Apr. 10, 2008 - Biometrics finished! Can finally see AOS online & EAD touch!

May 12, 2008 - Email: AP approved!!

May 14, 2008 - Email: EAD approved!!

May 16, 2008 - EAD card & AP in hand!!

Sept 19, 2008 - Interview letter - Oct. 24th - Seattle??

Oct. 21, 2008 - A Touch..WOW!! The interviewer must've put it on his/her desk!

Nov 13, 2008 - Approved! Card Production Ordered...finally!!

WOW! Congratulations! Do you have any idea when you were assigned to a case officer? You and I have almost exactly the same timeline, so I'm wondering if I should be check my mail carefully:)

5-31-07: K-1 package mailed

6-5-07: Signature of receipt at TSC

6-12-07: NOA1 notice mailed from CSC

6-15-07: Check clears bank

6-16-07: Bank shows that check has been cashed.

6-18-07: Obtained receipt number off the back of the check and registered on the USCIS site

6-18-07: USCIS portfolio states packet received at CSC on June 12 and notice has been mailed

7-12-07: Touch due to phone call to USCIS

7-16-07: Received NOA1 hardcopy

9-25-07: Called USCIS

9-26-07: Touch-probably due to phone call yesterday

10-29-07: NOA2!!
