Congratulations to all who are getting approved!! I'm at 147 days too. I was hopeing to get mine today, and I could share the special day with my nephew who was born early this morning! Trying to stay positive, it's hard though, Maybe tomorrow......

I was hoping to get mine today also, along with U2rsobad and Ramzis. Hopefully we will be dancing tomorrow :thumbs:

Yeah, thanks, I hope so, but do you ever get tired of checking your email, and USCIS website??? WOW, sometimes I think I'm better off to not check any more, it's a big let down everytime I see no change.....ya know?? What do you all think???Keep checking, or just let it come snail mail!???What to do???

Ok..I know it's probably from the phone call, but I got a touch!! Yea!! I just got home from job #2 and looked at the website...I can go to bed with a smile on my face for the first time in a long time. I hope my approval is just around the corner :)

Congratulations to all of the approvals tonight! Maybe afterforever, ramzis and I will be approved tomorrow and we can all do the happy dance together! Come on CSC & VSC too..you've got some more approving to do!! :thumbs:

Okay..my lunch break is over so I'm here to report my findings...

I spoke with a really nice man and told him that I was concerned about my petition because I had not heard anything since I called to have a new NOA1 sent out due to not receiving the first one. I was hoping he could tell me whether or not my petition had gotten lost in the shuffle with them being so overwelmed recently. He put me on hold for a couple of minutes then came back and said "don't worry ma'am, your case was assigned to an officer yesterday on the 16th and although it doesn't show that a decision has been made yet, you should be hearing something soon." I thanked him for his kindness and told him that he just made my day and that I hope he has a great day. He told me to have a nice day as well and I said thanks to him, I would be!

YEA!!! :dance::dance::dance:

At least a feel a little more relieved...we should be hearing something soon!! I so appreciate everyone here..it's nice to be able to share this long long journey with others that know how I feel. :thumbs:

It's coming up on 30 days since my NOA2 and the NVC has STILL not received my case. Has anyone else here with NOA2's experienced such a long delay with the NVC? This is not boding well for wanting my fiance to be here by Christmas. :crying:

2007:

February - May: extended visit to States, engagement.

5/4: I-129F sent (Texas Service Center, forwarded to California Service Center)

5/11: Petition received at California Service Center.

5/16: Check cleared. NOA1 online (no hard copy received yet)

6/19: NOA1 hard copy arrived FINALLY

7/16: Sent off for Police Certificate (U.K.)

8/22: TOUCHED due to phone call (RFE Trick, was told case wasn't assigned yet)

9/20:APPROVED!!! After 127 days from NOA1 and 139 days from filing date.

10/23: Spoke to Kelly at NVC who said they should have received our petition by now. She advised I send a copy of our NOA2 directly to the NVC office, which I did immediately. :-)

10/26: NVC RECEIVES CASE!

10/30: NVC SENDS CASE TO LONDON CONSULATE

11/1: Consulate receives case in London AND sends out Packet 3.

11/6: Sent Packet 3 to Consulate (we'd downloaded the forms on VJ and had them completed already)

11/22: Appointment for Medical.

2008:

01/08: Interview scheduled for 10 a.m. APPROVED!!!

02/01/08: Stephen comes to America!!!

I am not certain, but what I have read on this site, many people are waiting 30+ days for the approved petitions to be sent to the NVC. Looking at past approved petitions, it took around week to have the petitions sent to NVC and then off to the foreign embassy. Not true any more.

I was very excited about getting an NOA-2, but with the waiting time reaching 30+ days to get to NVC, I do not get excited anymore.

I got a touch the day after I called and I thought it was because I called. It very well could have been because I called. Or maybe the system keeps track of who calls whether it go through the automated machine or not. I am not sure. Or maybe me calling the day before I got approved was a coincidence? All I know is I called and the next day got a touch but the USCIS page said the same thing (that they recieved the petition and sent out the NOA1 yada yada). I checked it like several times during the day just incase. It still didnt change. So I wasnt expecting much. Then later on that night I got an e mail that we were APPROVED. I checked it USCIS site to make sure (as if the e mail wasnt enough) and it said APPROVED! WOOT WOOT!

COME ON USCIS WE GOT MORE PEEPS WAITING GET YOUR BUTTS ROLLING!!!
