WE GOT APPROVED TODAY!!!! now, at last, I can get moving and sell my house and worldly possessions and Patsy will be here next week to help me. The world suddenly looks a better place....LOL :thumbs::dance:

May 18, 2007 - I-129F received at CSC

August 22, 2007 - called USCIS and found out we were APPROVED on August 18, 2007

August 22, 2007 - received email from CRIS, late afternoon, saying we were approved

September 10, 2007 - NVC RECEIVED! YAY!

September 12, 2007 - Left NVC on it's way to Dublin! WAHOOOO!

September 28, 2007 - Packet 3 Received

November 1, 2007 - Medical

November 8, 2007 - Packet 3 Sent to Embassy

Thanks KTJett, I am trying to stay postive but I have days when I wish we'd just done a bit more in preparing for Packet 3 than we did :bonk: Suppose that's neither here nor there though...need to just do what needs doin' and and get it done! :thumbs:

Oh! Thanks for the info on Packet 3 and the DHL scan RoseMarie! YIPES! Wonder if my finace is aware of this and has done what he needs to have done? Will have to be pushy-neurotic fiancee person and ask him a lot of questions I suppose ;)

It's Wednesday COME ONE USCIS let's get some more approvals!

We just got our interview letter. It will be in 4 days. Perfect timing cause I'm in Montreal this week.

* 04/20/07: Friday: I-129F Sent to NSC via Express Mail

* 04/23/07: Monday: Delivery Confirmation Receipt

* 05/17/07: Case forward to CSC. Status: Case received and pending.

* 05/18/07: Touched: Check cashed by CSC

* 05/23/07: First Update to my online account( got case number from the back of the check)

* 06/12/07: Tuesday: Called 1- 800 asking about NOA1. They will mail another one(?!).

* 06/13/07: Second update to my online account

* 06/16/07: Friday: Write Your Congressman: contact the local office

*06/18/07: e-mail send to the USCIS by Congressman's Assistant

*06/30/07: touches (update) answer from/to congressman's email

*07/05/07: Replacement Receipt Notice received( as requested by the congressman's office)

*07/10/07: New visit to the congressman's office.

*07/11/07: E-mail sent by Congressman 's office to the Congressional Unit at CSC to upgrade my fiancee's address.

*07/13; 07/14/07: case touched (address updated)

*08/17/07: case touched

*08/19/07: 1. received e-mail from CSC ( they send the approval notice on 8/17)

: 2. case touched. Current status: the petition has been approved.

*08/24/07 - 8/31/07: received NOA2 via snail mail. (The mail was on hold for 1 week during my trip to Montreal)

*09/10/07 called NVC; no record(s) about the case yet; advised to wait and call back later

*09/20/07: called NVC; the case was transfered to Montreal on Sept 17(Monday). Also, I asked for our NVC case number.

*09/28/07: packet 3 received

*10/01/07: packet 3 sent

*10/15/07: interview letter received: oct. 19

congrats patsy and john! didn't realize you were - or well at least one of you is in manchester- that is where my fiance is from- despite the postal strike things have moved REALLY quickly compared to the first half for us- good luck!

May 23rd checked cashed, NOA1 issued

May 29th Updated online, and sadly the last touch

May 30th - NOW Waiting, waiting and waitning, loosing patience....

August 30th APPPPROOOVVEEED NOA2 SENT!

Sept 10th - received NOA2 , dated on the 7th of Sept.

Sept 12th- file sent to UK

Sept 24th - received packet from US embassy (packet 3 is it?)

Sept 25th- sent off packet back to us embassy

Oct 12th- got interview date by calling US embassy

Oct 16th- medical exam in London , PASSED

Nov 1st - 8:30 am INTERVIEW AT US EMBASSY!!!!!!!!!!!!![

FINAL APPROVAL- Nov 1st!!!! Passport to be mailed with visa attached in 3-5 days!! YIPPEEEEEE

Nov 20th- Dave flies over for Thanksgiving & Forever!!!

Yup, email notification from CRIS and I checked on the USCIS website and it says the approval notice was sent yesterday. Hang in there, all those who haven't yet been approved!!
