I phoned up the State Department today and they told me I have an interview date for 7th November at 8:30 :dance::dance: I hope that packet 3 arrives with the medical questionaire before my medical at the end of October.

Good Stuff Rose Marie! Less than 3 months from your NO2 - that's fantastic- you are less than a month away!!!! I realize you are from a different consulate, but what did you need to send in with you packet 3? I would like to be as ready as possible when it arrives!!!

I still haven't received Packet 3 in the mail yet but my fiance got a letter from NVC telling us that the petition was being transferred to London and giving us the LND case number. I waited a week for Packet 3 but then there was the strike so I printed off the scan of packet 3 from here http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/thumbna...y&uid=30186 and filled in the requested documents from here http://www.state.gov/m/a/dir/forms/ which seemed to be more up to date than those on the London Embassy site. I sent in the forms with a copy of the checklist from the scan by DHL Lite courier service. I am glad I did because I have still not received packet 3 yet. The police certificate is important to get as you will wait around 40 days for it and it is valid for a year. The scan will show details of what you need for the embassy.

Good luck

How do you get the scan for the DHL Lite Courier service?

I printed the scan from the link above which is a copy of a package 3 that someone else received. I then filled out and printed the other forms that were requested in the package 3. I put the package into an envelope and arranged for DHL Lite to come and pick them up from my work and take them to the US embassy in London.

Thanks :)

HEY EVERYBODY! Want to know whats better than waiting 150 days for your NOA-2?

Waiting 150 days and getting an RFE notice. Then..........waiting (I'm still waiting) for the RFE notice to arrive here via snail mail, then..................once receiveing it, sending the info back to CSC for approval, then....................waiting another month or so for your petition to reach NVC.

At first I was so excited to finally receive my NOA-2, now that I see the backlog for petitions to reach NVC, I'm not excited anymore. It is just one more rung up the ladder so you can wait longer to get to the next. What once took 6 months for the completion of the I-129F process now looks more in the 9 - 12 month range.

Last week everyone got their hopes up that USCIS was finally starting to give out lots of approvals. We were hoping all May filers would be approved this week. So far this week only two approvals. I do not know about

anyone else feels but this is beyond insane now. From 26 approvals last week to 2 this week. How pathetic.:angry:

Come on USCIS get off your butts and get us May filers approved. We are all tired of this wait.
