We are at 154 days from the "case received and pending" according the the USCIS web site....I am seeing a lot of people that filed later in the month being approved....this is very frustrating when you here the spill from the service center...."all applications are processed in the order they are received....YEAH RIGHT!!! I guess we all wold not be so frustrated if our applications would have been handled in a timely manner, or we would have know up front that it was going to be this long of a process.

You filed several weeks ahead of me so I do feel your pain and frustration. Even though I filed later, it still sucks when people get approved that filed after you. It is starting to happen with me now. I am very happy for these people but come on USCIS lets try to be fair about this process.

I have already checked the USCIS website about 10 times today, so I guess it's official; I am totally insane from this wait

Please approval all the rest of us May filers this week USCIS.

I phoned up the State Department today and they told me I have an interview date for 7th November at 8:30 I hope that packet 3 arrives with the medical questionaire before my medical at the end of October.

Bundy: Would like to find out your status on the RFE. Did you get the hard copy yet and what do they need from you? I still have not gotten mine yet; hopefully today. They said it was mailed out on Oct 9th. It is the 15th now. I live in California too.

No, I have not received anything yet. I was hoping I would get it in the mail today. You live in California and haven't received yours? I thought it was taking so long because I live in Florida! That is not a good sign!!!!!

I called CSC to get info on the RFE, but the guy said I would have to wait for the letter. He said there is nothing I can do but wait for the RFE letter! This stinks!

Well, I did not get the RFE in the mail today...and it is Monday the 15th. The email said they had mailed out the RFE on Tuesday the 9th. I live in Sacramento, California; my package is in California center. I get mails from Thailand faster than this. So I called and the guy said they are having problem with mailing process and I asked him "Don't you guys have template where you could just cut and paste the name and info to the form and print? He said "We are so behind in technology."; which to me sounded to like he was speaking out of his ###!!!! So I told him that I am a Federal employee too and we don't operate like you guys. It kind of like we go to war without bringing our weapons. I told him that people lives depend on us and so do you guys. Then he told me to wait several more days. I told him I had waited 160 days already and I hung up. ####### !!!!!!!! Sorry...had to get that one out.

Come oooooon, where are all of my VJ friend's approvals?!?!?!?!? Though this week is off to a bad start I feel that all of May should be finished this week! It HAS to be!!!!! Let's go!!!!!!!

Also, can anyone help me understand the rest of the process once NVC sends the packet to the embassy???? Is Packet 3 what NVC sends to the US embassy in Greece, as well as to my fiance? And Packet 3 includes the Medical information??? I'm just a little confused, and though I do have a lawyer, he is probably sick of answering my phone calls

The adjudicators have been working very long hours at both CSC & VSC. They are required to adjudicate petitions faster than ever before.....They have spent very little time with their families at home. I know now, that they do care for us the most!!!!!!! They will approve 20 petitions this week, just on VJ alone.

Ask Byron. He was told his was assigned weeks ago and nada.

Which is TOTALLY horrible! I can't believe they do that! But it's like my fiance says, we aren't real people to them necessarily, just a bunch of case numbers. That just sucks.
