05/16/07- sent I-129f to TSC

05/17/07- received I-129f at TSC signed for by M SALCEDO

05/23/07- noa1...and the trip begins

05/29/07- received in the mail

10/10/07- received email of approval 10/09/07

11/05/07-NVC received

11/07/07-left NVC for manila

11/14/07-noa2..recieved 11/20/07- never recieved 1st noa2

12/27/07-medical

01/04/08-interview approved

I think the upcoming holidays could impact the timelines of some of us. I have been trying to find a listing of the days that the embassy in Manila will be closed but have been unsucessful. Does anyone know how to find that out? I would assume all embassies have the same holidays, does anyone know how much time might be lost due to the holidays?

4/6/07 - Contacted attorney John Roth

5/1/07 - Petition mailed to Texas Service Center

5/7/07 - NOA1 - Petition at CSC

9/19/07 - Approved!! NOA2 - 139 days from filing!!! (mine and several other VJ members petitions were delayed in the mail room on this approval date)

9/20/07 - Postmark for NOA2 hardcopy

9/24/07 - Hardcopy NOA2 received

10/26/07 - Sent to NVC - 43 Days from NOA2 (2 weeks late thanks to the fine folks at CSC mail room!)

11/02/07 - Case received at NVC - Finally!

11/06/07 - Case left NVC - Finally efficient results from the government!

11/14/07 - DOS advises packet has been mailed to Beth. No dates given yet...

11/15/07 - Grace at USE says nothing mailed to Liberty yet.

But she became "documentarily qualified" today, so check back soon.

11-19-07 - Dates assigned on the website!

11-20-07 - Packet 4 postmarked

11-27-07 - Packet arrives

12-07-07 - Copy of Appointment letter arrives in USA. postmark date: 12-05-07

12-27-07 - Assigned Medical Date

12-20 & 21 - Early Medical -- COMPLETED

01-03-08 - USEM Interview -- Approved!!

01-08-08 - Visa pick-up at USEM (3 business days wait because of weekend)

Click on the Embassy Info tab and click on the embassy's homepage. I know from living in Japan for many years that they are closed on American and Japanese holidays, so in my case, it'll affect us greatly.

Go to the country's portal and click on their embassy's homepage. I know from living in Japan for many years that they are closed on American and Japanese holidays, so in my case, it'll affect us greatly.

Same here, they're are closed on american and peruvian holidays....but there are no more holidays in Peru....heh heh! The last one was on monday :D

Unfortunately for me there are a few more Japanese holidays as well as nearly a week after New Years..Come on CSC..I want to be done with this before the Christmas & New Year's holidays begin!
