Just wondering if anyone has gained or lost weight since starting this ordeal.

Personally I have lost six pounds I could not really afford. Guess my baby

will have to nurse me back to my ideal weight

I've lost weight! My normal weight is 116 pounds....but when I was living with Pat me weight was 121...haha! I was very happy! Since I came back started this process, I went down to 105....and I've been having a hard time gaining weight but currently I'm at 114 pounds...

I was hoping that all May filers would all be approved this month....but, now I see it will not happen. So disappointed.... :( The time between petition sent and NOA2 keeps growing larger. About 146 days now average......It may really go to 180 days by the end of this month. I'm still happy to see some approvals!!!!!!

I know a lot of people are still waiting for their NOA2 here and my heart goes out to those people as I know the wait can be some excruiting. I just thought I would let people know that there is light at the end of the tunnel as my finance just received her packet 3. We are very excited and I am surprised that we got it so quick, I figured it would be another couple of weeks as we got our NOA2 on 9/17 and the US consulate received our petition on the 24th. Anyway, I didn't come here to gloat just to remind people that this pain and agony is only temporary and that eventually everyone will be taken care of, just wish it happened sooner for all of us. Good luck to everyone and may your petitions get processed quickly and your love be with you shortly.

But remember if USCIS approves 5 or more a day, which could happen, then all of May will get approved this month.

I am hoping that we get approved this week cause it is entirely possible at this point in time.

I do not think it will go to 180 days by the end of the month. Most May filers that were approved were around

143-146 range. This is about the same time range for the people in September as well. Most this month have been under 146 days.

Looks like 8 people got approved today, as well as the one that just found out they were approved on 10/5.

If USCIS keeps us this pace all us May filers will get approved soon.

Hopefully we will see more tonight and tomorrow morning.

Hello Bundy, You got RFE right? Does it make your processing time extremely slow? or as soon as you send RFE, can you get approved immediately? I know it depends on what the RFE is about.

I have no idea. I checked and rechecked my paperwork last night to see if I could find any problems, but I didn't see what I did wrong. I sent in a ton of supporting information, but I have been told that you can get an RFE for anything. The person who looked at the paperwork could have "overlooked" something in my packet, lack of evidence (even if you thought you added enough), forms filled out incorrectly, etc. No worries, I will just send the requested info. back with a nice note attached to it. :)

I would assume my petition is on hold until I resend the information requested. I hope it does not put me back in the filing process. 150 days waiting and an RFE really stinks. I am hoping it is a quick fix and can get the information sent back to them early next week...........praying for an approval late in the week!

Does anyone know what happens with the petition approval time when an RFE is involved? Do they set my file aside and give it priority when the corrected RFE informaiton is sent in? What happens? Please post some help if you can!

Bundy

Once they receive the RFE they go back to processing it. It does not go to the back of the line or anything like that. It just picks up again :) A lot of people tend to get approved pretty quick once the service center receives the RFE docs.

Good luck!!!!
