Hey guys, please tell me something.....I called USCIS again, becuase after a call on Friday I recieved 4 touches. So I called agian today, and I talked to a nice lady, and after researching my case she said that it's been assigned. And that I should hear somthing within 30days. I asked if it was an RFE and she no, not that I can see, then she checked my address and said okay, just wait for the notice in the mail.

??????

Is she talking about my approval NOA2 or what?? And does it really take 30 days, if I'm really assigned to an officer???

By the way I filed 140days ago. With NCS, and then forwarded to CSC.

I called the Uscis a week before my first touch and they told me my acount was assigned. I received my RFE email 8 days after I was told it was assigned to an officer. Should be 7 - 10 days before you hear something. Good luck.

We were APPROVED last night!!!!! Email sent at 11:15pm!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH I'm so happy! I hope you all hear of your approvals soon! My receipt date was May 25th, and it was transferred and received by CSC on June 12th. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!

Many of us May filers are very close to your timeline so I hope we get approved this week also.

My receipt date was May 27th. PLease send us our approvals this week USCIS.

Well...another depressing day here in paradise Although I know some of you (especially Byron & Mirla) have been waiting a little longer than me, I was still hoping that this was the day. I got to work here, everyone in my office sang Happy Birthday to me, and then I got online and checked...nothing No NOA2, no touches...nothing! Come on CSC (& VSC) you know you can do better than this!!

yeah, your right, wow, today is not one of my best days....I normally try to keep my head up and be positive. I feel bad today though, I'm just missing Rodgers so much, maybe it has to do with the fact that he's traveling again..back to Zambia, and the trip is long and we don't talk much during this time. sorry guys, I'm just a little down today. Then talking with this lady, makes me anxious....I just want to know what notice I will get.

THANK YOU EVERYONE on the congrats! It really means so much, after I told my fiance the great news I said "Ok, ok, I'll call you back, I have to tell my Visajourney friends!" The support on this board is amazing, it really has helped me get through the wait so far.

Yes, I did have a touch yesterday, but that was the only one prior to my approval without a phone call. Weird, I got touched yesterday and the email was sent yesterday, but I also got a touch today? Who knows?????

Those of you at VSC, have you tried calling??!!? Seeing if there is life?!

Unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!!! And to think i told Leidy to stop trying to get a tourist visa and let's do things the right way and get the fiance visa....I have come to hate this process now!!! I know that they have a bunch of work but C'mon, NO activity out of VSC at all whatsoever when it comes to K1 petitions....A bunch of BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish they could feel the way i'm feeling today instead of worrying about all the work related petitions and the tax money these petiotions will generate.....But like the saying goes " Money Talks and BS walks" So i guess i just keep walking along!

BYRON- Don't kick yourself for not applying for a tourist visa. Yes, many people get them easily but my fiance applied last year and got denied, which set us back a couple months. Also, tourist visas aren't permanent, and may wind up costing more money in the long run with traveling back and forth. Just think if you had a tourist visa, you would STILL have to go through this K-1 or K-3 process- just later. And with the backlog of petitions now, at least you are at the beginning of that and not a July filer! That would be torture! GOOD LUCK!

It is sad that USCIS will not give you any relevent information regarding your case. I guess they just do not

care that people are anxious and stressed out. I know it is hard but try to stay calm. We are all pulling for you on here. Good luck!!

I think all the rest of us May filers are double stressed right now seeing we are so close. Come on USCIS approve us all this week.

Any news from May Filers with NOA2 Approval and how long the NVC is taking?

For example, my NOA2 date is 9-24-07 and I received the hardcopy on 9-28-07. Since then nothing...

Getting assigned is good news, before the end of the month you should be approved stay positive you won't be getting any RFE
