I just received 5, count them, 5 emails from USCIS stating they need more evidence?? (All the emails said the same thing) Are you F'ing kidding me? I called CSC right after I got the email and the guy told me that he had no idea what the RFE was for and I would have to wait for the snail mail to get here. I followed the Guides to the T listed here on visajourney and even aded extra pictures, phone records, etc for our proof of relationship.

I am so pissed right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There goes an extra week aded to my approval! Just wonderful!

Please post what the RFE was about when received, curious if I should get some papers prepared as well!!! thats possibly the worse! waiting a ridiculuosly amount of time then being delayed cause of some BS!!!

This is got to be our week May filers. USCIS bring on those NOA2's :thumbs::thumbs:

I need to stay positive because this wait is starting to kick my butt. :blink:

I hear you there! I just called USCIS and used the RFE trick (told them I have had a problem with returned mail). The guy told me that nothing has been sent to my address other than the original NOA1 and that my case is still pending. :(

5/20/07 I-129F sent to local service center

5/30/07 I-129F received by CSC

6/1/07 NOA1 received

9/18/07 Called USCIS, told to wait 6 months before checking status

9/24/07 Called USCIS, used RFE trick, told that last document sent was NOA1

9/25/07 Touch

10/9/07 Called USCIS, used RFE trick, told that last document sent was NOA1 and that case is pending

10/11/07 TOUCH!

10/12/07 TOUCH AND APPROVAL E-MAIL NOTIFICATION! WOOHOO!!!! Notice sent 10/11. (144 days from filing)

10/15/07 NOA2 hardcopy in-hand!

10/17/07 Packet 3 paperwork completed, given to relative who will hand deliver to fiancee in Laos on the 19th

10/17/07 Waiting for NVC to receive case

11/26/07 NVC received case

11/28/07 NVC forwards case to consulate in Vientiane, Laos

24 JUL 07 : K1 arrived in Lincoln, NE

24 JUL 07 : USPS status of package: DELIVERED:)

02 AUG 07 : NOA1 from CSC

03 DEC 07: NOA2

12 DEC 07: NVC Receives

14 DEC 07: NVC sends to Bangkok

17 DEC 07: Consulate receives

08 JAN 08: Packet 3 sent

08 JAN 08: Given date of interview

11 JAN 08: Interview...approved already before getting to the window!...NO questions asked

25 JAN 08: My lady arrives in IAD-Washington DC:)

19 APR 08: Married in Alexandria, VA (5 days before Visa expires)

20 JUN 08: Mailing in AOS packet

18 DEC 09: GREEN CARD RECEIVED:)

Thanks everyone! :) It hit me like a ton of bricks when I saw the email. I thought it was an approval letter, but an RFE letter??!! It really hurt when I saw it. I have waited so long and now this. Oh well, must be for a reason.

Tomorrow is a new day. Hopefully I will get the RFE before the end of the week and have the evidence sent back no later than Monday. Maybe, just maybe, I can get an approval next week. FINGERS CROSSED!!

I will let everyone know what the RFE is when I get it!

Packet 3 is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While i was at the embassy dropping off DS-230 part 1 as the embassy requested, mom called to say she had just gotten a letter form the embassy :blush: packet 3 of course.

Congratulations to all who got their approvals last week and the lucky ones who got approved on Columbus Day.

To the VSC filers, my heart goes out to you. Mirla, Byron any news? Maybe i'm not praying hard enough. :)

Did you send REF? I am sure you will be approved so qucikly. But i know it depends on what the REF was about.

I forgot to write our names on the back of our photo's...They did not know that it was us in the pictures....

I'd received 2 emails today stating the same thing ...need more evidence. So you are not alone as well. I am frustrated too because it has been 153 days for me. It said they had mailed it off today Oct 9...so I will probably get it Thursday...hopefully something simple and I can send it back same day.
