I also got a touch on Oct. 1st and this morning Oct 2nd, I got my approval.

I just wanted to say my fiance had his medical yesterday and it went off without a hitch.

we are still waiting for the interview date, it usually takes about three weeks and we are just at that, so we'll call if we don't have it by the end of the week.

Sept 24th - received packet from US embassy (packet 3 is it?)

Sept 25th- sent off packet back to us embassy

Oct 12th- got interview date by calling US embassy

Oct 16th- medical exam in London , PASSED

Nov 1st - 8:30 am INTERVIEW AT US EMBASSY!!!!!!!!!!!!![

So, I called USICS this morning for an update on my petition. I talked to a very nice young man who was quite helpful and cheerful. He asked for the reason I was calling and I told him that I was unsure if my petition was outside the processing time. (I said I did not understand what the "time" was because of the March date listed on the USCIS website) He looked on the computer and went into a 3 minute scripted response to processing times......and at the end of the speech, he paused and told me that my petition had been sent to an officer for review.

What does that mean? I am right around the 140 day mark. I am hoping the "officer for review" statement isn't another scripted response to please callers. If it is for real, the people waiting with a similar timeline to mine should hear something pretty fast. Hopefully this week or next.

He also said if I do not hear anything after 6 months from the filing date (I am almost 5 months), I should call again. I assume they do a better review of your case status if it is after 6 months.

:thumbs: So, today I am thinking positive, and if that "officer" is reviewing my case this week and approves it before Friday, I'll send him/her a 12 pack of beer! :thumbs: (USCIS Officer-I hope your reading this)! :D

I don't know why but I had the worse night in a long time...I couldn't sleep at all....!!! Went to bed at 12 I think, woke up at 1.30, fell asleep after an hour, woke up at 4.50, feel asleep after 6, woke up at 9......Gee!!!!!! Am I going crazy??? Hahaha!

Well, I went in the United Kingdom thread on here and noticed that most K1/K3 people were sending out their checklist and forms to the embassy and getting their interview dates back about three weeks after the day they had sent. So i was basing the timing off of that.

Nothing official or anything but we definitely don't have it yet and its been just over three weeks.
