Does anyone remember the good ol' days? When our VJ estimations were in August and spirits were high... yeah, it's a fading memory for me too. :angry: now it says October now OCTOBER OCTOBER!!!!! :ranting:

I just - I just - I just don’t even know what to do anymore. October????? I was expecting late August but then I was like - ohhh its just a little slow cuz of the fee increase so I gave them until mid-September and then that passed and I was like - well at least I know I'll have my NOA2 by the end of September. But you guys, I called today and they said I didn’t even have an officer yet!! So surely if I don’t have an officer I will without a doubt NOT be getting approved by the end of this month and lord knows if I'll be approved my mid October! :crying:

I searched for an emoticon that could best express how I am feeling right now and the best I could do is :ranting::protest::crying::dead::wacko::(:angry:

I called CSC many times, they told me every story you could imagine, I heard it all. It's not assigned, it's in the mail room, it's on the shelf, it's not assigned, it's in the mail room, it's on the shelf. In fact, there was one Chinese lady that told me my case would be delayed because I called so often, she told me I am allowed 2 calls per month.....then I received the email stating I'm APPROVED!!!....So don't be too concerned with what they tell you at CSC when you call them and they feed you that same old garbage. Hold on just a little longer...Good luck!!!

Hey guys,

Hang in there....At least you are not alone. We are feeling the same frustration. Some days are good and some are bad. It's comforting to know that this lack of work ethic is not in isolation. Let's be strong together. Lets be hopeful for the month of October. If it does not happen, then guess what!

Their six months will just about be up.....then and then can we show our real side :angry:

:angry: Here it is September 27,07 filed in May havent even recieved touch from California Service Center. I guess they are 4 Months behind are December plans of Janice being here are long off now .wonder what is going on there my original review Date for NOA 2 was Aug. 16 we have heard nothing..... what a Deal!!!

I really hope we hear of some approvals today! But I have noticed that CSC usually doesnt give out more than 10 approvals a week, and when they come, they come as a batch. How I wish we get another batch of 10 approvals today!! hehe

I don't get it. Do they approve a batch of 10 petitions on Mondya and then not work for the rest of the week? How hard could it possibly be to look over 50 petitions a day? In my job, I look over more files than they do a week, and I have follow up work to do. They just need to make sure everything is in order and then pass it on. It's not like they have to work on the files over and over again.

Why do they keep pushing the dates for approval up? I thought they were "processed in the order they were received"? Why would the dates continue to move forward if the files are just sitting on a shelf collecting dust? If there are 100 files sitting there, and next week they receive 200, why would it slow our approval process down? Ours are already there? Just utilize some time management and GET THINGS DONE! Gotta love the way our government runs things...........

My waiting time went from 90 days, to 120, to 140 and now 6 months. What a joke!

Yeah...I think they approved about 10 on Monday and spend the rest of the week reading our (VJ) forum and making jokes and laugh about. You would think with the 10 times increased in fees...you would hire more employees and more first aid kits on hand for paper cuts. Sorry...that's how I feel. I was a government employee too but we don't operate like them. TIME is a major factor in military.
