Wednesdays are good days. If not this afternoon I am sure some of you are going to get that long awaited e-mail tonight

Ok I couldn't hold it anymore and I called the CSC for the RFE trick. Piece of advice: don't say "my lawyer said that I got a RFE" if you DON'T have a lawyer the lady on the phone called my bluff, cut me off and told straight out "you don't have a lawyer on that case, sir"... mmm well mmm so basically I took a begging tone and asked if I could get some info since I never received a NOA1 and all of that, it's been more than 4 months. So she checked and it appears that I have been adjudicated to an officer on Sept 23rd!!! So I guess I could receive some news, hopefully positive SOON... All hope is not lost. Some news is still news...

Just felt like sharing the experience.

I never used the lawyer line. I just said that I haven't heard anything about my petition and I wanted to know if there was a problem.

I am at 124 days today and hope I will get approved soon also. I need to keep repeating that to keep my sanity and make it through another day.

Anything is possible. Come on USCIS

How did she know you did not have a lawyer?

Not sure since I don;t have one, I am not sure where/how it would appear on the application (there must be a part where it was filled on behalf of ... by lawyer...) , but since she wasn't buying my obvious lie, I guess she was really looking at my case...

How did she know you did not have a lawyer?

THEY KNOW ALL.

When I called and used the RFE trick, I used the line, "My friend, who is an attorney said that since it's been such a long time since I've heard anything that I should call to see if I have an RFE." That worked beautifully.

Just wanted to address some issues....

Whenever one of us gets an approval, it is a wonderful thing and it makes me feel good knowing at some point that I will soon feel that sense of euphoria.

The calculating aspect of me wants to know what happened to my service center? How come they just slowed down or stopped? I feel like they are not making our applications a priority or maybe something unimaginable happened....My brain just starts to wonder " what is going on?" Especially since they changed some policies recently...I keep thinking that they might come up with some crazy new procedure before I am approved. I'm quite sure that you understand that.

So, until I begin seeing VSC approve some of their applications...then I am just going to be uneasy.

When I vent, I can only share with people who are in my same boat. All I can do is vent and wait....vent and wait....it's human ( all of which that yields the same expectation....nothing). It's the only thing that keeps me sane...especially since I miss my baby so so much. I can believe that four months have counted...and yet no response, except for the call I made to them last Friday in which the estimated thirty days before I hear word from them.

I'm not quite sure if I read some of the responses after my last posting right...but just to make things clear, I decided to do a follow up posting.

Well, I do have a lawyer but when I called using the RFE the lady surprised me saying that there was no attorney registered under my case.....I was like ####### are you talking about......she didn´t give me any info since I´m the beneficiary and I found out that my lawyer didn´t fill this form that my app was filled out by him....Anyways, my fiance got the NOA1 on his mail box instead of our lawyer and he will get the NOA2..

Sooooo if you don´t have a lawyer.....don´t use that line! haha

ROAR! I just called CSC and the lady said they were processing visa submitted March 15th. Well DUH I can read the website. Usually people get a better response when they actually speak with CSC rather than the USCIS. Oh well, guess it is just more waiting.......

The sad thing is that once it is APPROVED, then there is another WAIT for it to be transferred to NVC!!!!

Yeah, and I called NVC yesterday and a very rude lady told me they had not received mine yet and that I should give them 90 days before calling! So, I will call again next week
