No good news for me today from CSC!? Maybe it will be here this week! Waiting, waiting, praying, WAITING! :angry:

05/14/2007: Received Date on NOA-1 (petition sent to CSC)

05/24/2007: Recevied NOA1 via Snail Mail

10/05/2007: TOUCHED---FINALLY

10/10/2007: Touch, Touch again 10/17 due to phone call

10/18/2007: Received RFE Hard Copy via snail mail

10/20/2007: Resent RFE information to CSC

May 24, 2007: NOA 1

Sept. 20, 2007: APPROVAL NOA 2 !!! (Day 139)

Sept. 24, 2007: Hard copy NOA 2 received in mail

Oct. 25, 2007: Papers arrived at NVC

Oct. 29, 2007: Papers left NVC: enroute to Bucharest YAY!!

Nov. 2, 2007: Packet 3 mailed from embassy

Nov. 8, 2007: Packet 3 received, medical and interview scheduled by phone

Nov. 12, 2007: Medical appointment completed

Nov. 13, 2007: Interview in Bucharest: VISA APPROVED!!

JANUARY 12, 2008: THE WEDDING

AOS:

Dec.31, 2007: Filed AOS/EAD/AP via mail

Jan. 30, 2008: Biometrics appointment

March 11, 2008: EAD/travel document approval via email

Case transferred to CSC (date unknown)

May 12, 2008: AOS approval email!!

I agree that thinking about being patient may help some calm down, but for many, every day and every night without their loved one seems like an eternity...especially when we have seen zero VJers get a HOA 2 out of VSC in a week. Sometimes patience just allows others to abuse you. There comes a point where we take action and at least attempt to be heard. The service is unacceptable, period. Sure USCIS can set a 6 month processing goal and they can say "calm down, you are still not over the 6mo goal." But heck, with proper management, staff, and attitudes, they could have set that goal at 3 mo. They could also change it to 8mo, 10mo, 12mo whatever they feel and we are just supposed to be patient and do nothing. Not me...my letters and phone calls may fall on blind eyes, but like many others have done lately...mine have been sent to Governement and media officials.

I agree with taking action. But listen---I do have a wait until eternity-----to see my dear darling daughter who was 18 years old and died in my arms on Easter Sunday 5 years ago. ----- So do you think I'm patient?

Day 144, my estimate moves further everyday, no Touch, no RFE, dozens of approvals for petitions filed after me, boo-hoo ...

It would be nice to know that at least they had it somewhere as opposed to thinking someone is using my petition under a leg of their desk to keep it level so all the piles of other petitions don't fall over ... at least that's the picture I have in my head ...

Justin the way CSC is handing out approvals, you are right at the amount oftime that seems to be the norm for approvals now, 140 days..
