How did you guys track when your petition arrived and left the NVC? Just by calling the automated number, or what? Am not real sure now how to act since NOA 2 came, and I don't have to check CRIS website every waking moment!

(p.s. have visited in Ghana and Togo several times--beautiful people & places!!)

Mirla & Byron, it can't be too much longer now. Seems like almost all recent approvals were right around 140 days (ours was 139) so you guys have to be coming up real soon. Then it's ON YOUR WAY from there! You will be celebrating really soon. :dance:

May 4, 2007: Filed I 129-F at CSC

May 24, 2007: NOA 1

Sept. 20, 2007: APPROVAL NOA 2 !!! (Day 139)

Sept. 24, 2007: Hard copy NOA 2 received in mail

Oct. 25, 2007: Papers arrived at NVC

Oct. 29, 2007: Papers left NVC: enroute to Bucharest YAY!!

Nov. 2, 2007: Packet 3 mailed from embassy

Nov. 8, 2007: Packet 3 received, medical and interview scheduled by phone

Nov. 12, 2007: Medical appointment completed

Nov. 13, 2007: Interview in Bucharest: VISA APPROVED!!

JANUARY 12, 2008: THE WEDDING

AOS:

Dec.31, 2007: Filed AOS/EAD/AP via mail

Jan. 30, 2008: Biometrics appointment

March 11, 2008: EAD/travel document approval via email

Case transferred to CSC (date unknown)

May 12, 2008: AOS approval email!!

May 22, 2008: Green card received

I waited a couple of days and then called NVC. And then they can tell you if they received the petition and when it is off to the embassy and your new case number.

I hope and pray to our Heavenly Father that CSC gets a move on this week and gets thru all of May's petitions. One can only hope huh? It is possible if only we believe in him :innocent:

So there were only 2 approvals today from CSC? or was it split between CSC and VSC? Maybe tomorrow will shine a better light and we see more approvals on here for May filers. :thumbs::thumbs:

It is not too late yet!!!! Remember last week (I think the 18th) there were a TON of approvals sent out around 10-11pmish. Maybe we will see that tonight? Or is that just wishful thinking!??!!

Also just had to say that everyone on this forum is awesome, it really helps that we are in this together! Thank you all for that!!!! Good luck this week and to those lucky ducks already approved, hopefully the NVC will have quick turnaround time!

COME ON!!!! LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I want him here for the holidays!

No...you are not the only one with the dates changed. I checked last Friday, it said...September 30...and it said October 4 right now at 7 pm California time. I think because it is Monday and they'd probably hung over from the weekend. That's why the numerous coffee breaks. Good luck everyone.

I have a strong feeling you are right. this is the last week. These people get audited and have to stay on a month to month goals. I feel faith in God that our petitions will be getting answers allot this week. again remember they did a fee increase so they are working very strongly to get people approved. also there butts are in the spotlight. many people are complaining of their performance being very bad for May and June. I feel we will see a bunch of approvals this whole week. :thumbs:

WooHoo! I got my hardcopy NOA2 in the mail today! Yay! It actually seems real now. I STILL haven't gotten an email or an update online. Soooo maybe some of you will get a surprise in the mail very soon! I want to see more approvals!!!
