I sent mine off the 2nd of may looks like i will be joining the may filers. :) . now the wait begins.

USIC says I can expect answer in Aug, 07, currenty my Finace is working on Cfo required in Phils. I sent her a exact copy of everything that i sent for I-129F, based on reading here ,the Cfo in Phils. is very strict also age undr 21 seems to be in issue with Cfo ,but that being said we will carry on .and I made it a point to let them know she had employment waiting here ,even though she has nursing certificate could take up to one year to get her creditials here ,so she will work for my father and Mother as care giver ,hope that straergy works ! i guess we will find out!. good luck what a process ,maybe it would be easier to sneak across Border like so many ,Southern Border of course.

good Luck ,i am very optimistic despite my comments?

Ok I know that the timelines are approximate and that they can change, but can anyone tell me why mine has changed so drastically without any change of dates for me. It is later on my estimate than those who have filed after me. Is this just a quirk in vj timelines or am I missing something?

Now how in the WORLD did I miss the May thread up until now??? I cruise VJ all the time and still I managed to miss it. <---- I am a noob.

I was wondering the same thing about the VJ drastic shift in estimated adjudication for May filers. One day ours was August 11th and now its SEPTEMBER FREAKIN' FIRST! ARRRGHHH!!!

I've been looking at the March/April filers as well to see who is getting their NOA2's. I've been stalking Travis and Samantha's timeline as they filed at the end of March and received their NOA1 on April 6. They still have not received their NOA2. Their estimated adjudication date is July 27th. :crying:

I'm not sure why things have slowed down so much, but it really is disheartening.

2007:

February - May: extended visit to States, engagement.

5/4: I-129F sent (Texas Service Center, forwarded to California Service Center)

5/11: Petition received at California Service Center.

5/16: Check cleared. NOA1 online (no hard copy received yet)

6/19: NOA1 hard copy arrived FINALLY

7/16: Sent off for Police Certificate (U.K.)

8/22: TOUCHED due to phone call (RFE Trick, was told case wasn't assigned yet)

9/20:APPROVED!!! After 127 days from NOA1 and 139 days from filing date.

10/23: Spoke to Kelly at NVC who said they should have received our petition by now. She advised I send a copy of our NOA2 directly to the NVC office, which I did immediately. :-)

10/26: NVC RECEIVES CASE!

10/30: NVC SENDS CASE TO LONDON CONSULATE

11/1: Consulate receives case in London AND sends out Packet 3.

11/6: Sent Packet 3 to Consulate (we'd downloaded the forms on VJ and had them completed already)

11/22: Appointment for Medical.

2008:

01/08: Interview scheduled for 10 a.m. APPROVED!!!

02/01/08: Stephen comes to America!!!

Welcome again to all the new people in the May thread.

One thing to check when you see people getting NOA2's within a month or two is if they filed in Vermont. Those lucky bastards (but I love you all!) get theirs processed WAAAAY earlier than the rest of us.

Hm, just checked my timeline and it got moved back to August 12th. Started off at July 30th.

If I had to guess, I would say it's getting back up due to the overload of applications they received in April. They received far, far more than they usually do for some reason in the beginning of April. I know the VJ "estimated" dates are based on everyone filling in their timelines, so again, as a guess, I would say we're starting to see the result of the huge increase in filings. Also, I'd be willing to bet there has been a lot more people filing than usual because of the huge fee increase. There was buzz for some time about it, and I bet it pushed a lot of people to file earlier than perhaps they normally would have.

Again, just guesses though. Don't take my musings as fact!

So, another six weeks for me (and a lot of you). Sigh...Well, nothing we can do but support each other. We'll all get there in the end.

Take care

Michele

We're in with the May bunch. As you can see by our timeline all has gone through with our NOA1. Now I've developed an obsession with checking the USCIS site and this great site. Sure does help to know we are not the only ones in the boat and it is very helpful.

Maybe now that they have stooped taking work visa apps things will move along for all of us.

Good luck to all and thanks!

I am one of the early May filers, no action on our petition yet. No touches and fortunately no RFE's yet. However, I do have NOA1.

I do check this site often, it does encourage me to see the others here that share the same problems and the strength it gives to see the success and joy of the Visa approvals and reunions.

To be away from our fiances, spouses and families is the hardest thing to endure. I have gained a valuable experience thru this process. The human frailties, the possibilites of the unknown events, the pressures, stress and just the time being away and seperated over such a great distance can cause a strain on even the strongest and most committed. I commend all who endure this to the end.

I am patient, I will stay the course. I am committed to this to the end. I hope all others will remain strong and not give up no matter how hard or difficult the process. Always remember, nothing good or worthwhile will come easy. We must fight for it.

Good luck and I wish all a speedy process.
