I have my interview scheduled for the 27th Sept.  My question is about same day oath ceremony.  My interview is at 8.30am and I read that, they don't let food inside and was wondering, if there is only one oath per day and that would be in the evening or there are multiple oath sessions every day.

15 months seems like a good estimate with people who have gotten interviews recently, but they are becoming more and more backlogged, so I'd expect that number to creep up.

Small update to those of following SJC field office, just an update from people I know.

 

Filing date : Jan 25 -> Interview date : 8/15

Filing date : Feb 10 -> Interview date : 10/02

Filing date : Feb 24 -> Interview date : 10/10

 

So, March filers should start receiving updates soon.

Thanks for the reply. I submitted April 1st 2018 and finger print the following week. The online completion date for me also is 05/2019. I saw some one who had a Jan submission date had their interview last week. So God-willing ours is coming soon. All the best!

I got my interview scheduled on oct 15. but I do have a question about the oathtaking. Is it possible to rechedule your oathtaking ceremony? Since me and my family are travelling to China on Nov2-7,2018 for a vacation (we've booked it last April2018) so it will be impossible for me to process my US passport and Visa for a period of roughly just 2 weeks before our departure so i'm planning to rechedule the oathtaking IF they'll schedule me anytime before nov2 or IF they'll schedule me between nov2-7. Any thoughts? Thanks!
