I can understand her digging into differences of religion (most religions being very exclusive of each other), but the other questions are indeed surprising. I was pretty sure they never actually looked at particular items on the bank statements, but apparently they do!

Good evening,  I had my joint ROC and N-400 interview today. I passed the N-400 test. The IO didn't interview my wife and called me for the interview. We were expecting they will interview both of us together since we have a pending I-751. The IO only interviewed me and my wife was waiting outside. I am praying for everyone and myself for a smooth rest of the immigration journey. Since I have a pending ROC so they will approve it first before they approve my N-400. It is another waiting game now o Boy!

I had to read "When is Flag day?"
Then write "Flag day is in June"

The other man thought it was amusing, as I'm English, so, therefore, could speak, read & write English!, 
He looked through my Passport to check dates of Travel
asked me questions from my application, we chatted about the online filing, I said how great it was, the guy not interviewing told me about how and why they came up with it, I think he said it was modelled on Sweden's system.
I was then Congratulated by Both men, and The interviewer told me my Oath would be within 30 days, and I could get my Passport the same day, as it's right across the street from the Court.
It was all done so fast, less than 30 minutes from walking in the door, to walking out of the door!

Yeah, that's right. I am feeling relieved that the interview is over. The IO acknowledged that I have put the effort into sending them those documents. Now I am waiting very impatiently

Thanks a lot, my friend  I appreciate your kind words. You are spot on. I am relieved that the monkey is off my back now and I just have to wait for those striking texts and notifications. My prediction is that I will hear from them in 7 days, 18 days or one month. If I don't hear from them in my predicted days I will schedule an infopass and inquire what's going on with my case. No worries, my bad. I am sorry I just didn't fill out my timeline completely. I was not aware of VJ until last year March. When I made a VJ account last year I thought I will rarely use it so I didn't put any efforts in providing meaningful timeline information. I made some changes to my timeline which will give you more information. Just a quick question. Did you receive your N-400 approval notice? and when did you get it? I mean mail notice. Regards

You know, I was expecting an approval notice too, but I only got one (on nice thick official paper) for ROC, followed by the actual GC. The only paper I got for N400 was the oath ceremony notice. I'm ok with that though

Ah alright. Who needs it anyway  You already have the oath letter. I am praying they schedule my oath before my school starts next month.  I just wish Portland had same day oath ceremony for those with a pending I-751. Where is your oath ceremony? isn't that administrative oath ceremony?

yes, the ones done at USCIS office are administrative, and that's where it is. 

They blame the new system for the ROC approvals taking some time, but I think it's just an unusual situation to have a combo interview and they aren't sure how to handle it. 

If you don't see any movement in a couple weeks, schedule an infopass appointment, that ensures that they look at your file. It worked for me both 3 years ago at AOS and now at N400.
