you guys are lucky

we would be lucky if we didn't have combo interviews, which caused me not to qualify for same-day oath ceremony :)

do they do both: administrative and judicial ?

the judicial ones are done once a month only, and I assume for people with name changes

Yeah, but we won't be getting that privilege since we have a pending ROC. It is only for those applicants with an exclusive N-400.

Congratulations on getting the interview scheduled! Don't panic, the questions are easy! Just print them and take them on the flight with you (i liked that better than the app), and I'm sure you already know most of them.

Thank you, but I will have less than 24 hours after a 30+ hour journey to get the paperwork together. I don’t even know what I’ll need. That’s my biggest concern.I know about 80 % of the answers but will have a couple of weeks to brush up I suppose. I’m just freaking out. I can change the date if needed but don’t know if the fact that I’ll be jet lagged and unprepared is a good enough reason. Guess I’ll have to just bite the bullet.

Download the MP3 file, listen to it a couple of times and you will be fine:  https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/teachers/educational-products/100-civics-questions-and-answers-mp3-audio-english-version

Thanks I’ll do that. The history ones are fairly easy. It’s the politics I struggle with.

You probably don't need much paper work if you sent everything they asked for when you filed. I only took my latest iRS transcript, marriage certificate, my husbands proof of citizenship (passport or naturalization certificate) and this is what they asked for in the notice:

  • Green Card
  • Appointment letter
  • A second form of photo identification (such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID card)

You'll be ok I"m sure. Just enjoy the thought that you'll be done soon!

That’s not too bad then. I sent everything to them when I filed. Even a copy of my itinerary and dates for my current holiday in England , all five years transcripts. I have  the parking ticket details, which wasn’t even in my name after all. I also have my VAWA petition and copy of approval notice, termination of removal proceedings by the IJ. ( Yes my case was complicated). Divorce certificate, marriage certificate, children’s birth certificates ( even though they are 25 +). I’m filing under the five year rule but do have my husbands birth certificate etc. Hoping that’s all I need. My American husband spent the first two weeks with me in England with family. I’m so glad I requested the post to be held and delivered when he got back, otherwise the letter would have been stuck

in the box for two weeks and could have gone missing. With the online update saying there have been no changes since March 28th I could have easily missed it.

Congratulations !! Which state did you file it from?  I guess, marriage based? I am from Newark, NJ, filed on 3/1.  Just trying to figure out, if NJ - March interview letters have started coming out.

I filed in Detroit under the file year rule. I’ve had my original 10 year Green Card since Sept 2008 so it will be exactly 9 years and 11 months to the date. I got my GC due to my VAWA petition due to spousal abuse, and remarried a USC two  years later. We have just celebrated our 8 year anniversary. It’s not dependent on my husband xx
