Wife just received several updates that she was in line for her oath ceremony to be scheduled. Hopefully it will

be sooner rather than later.

Hey guys,

I had my interview yesterday.

I didn't wait too long at first, the officer called me and said we'll do the citizenship test first (I had a I751 pending).

I read and wrote what he asked and then to the civics part, the questions were:

1. What is freedom of religion?

2. How many U.S. Senators are there?

3. Name one state that borders Canada.

4. What ocean is on the west coast of the United States?

5. When was the constitution written?

6. Who is one of your state US Senator now?

After that, he said he can't approve me because of my I751 and asked if my spouse is with me, I told him yes and he said he will talk to both of us later. He asked me several more questions and asked to look at the paperwork I brought. He made copies of what he wanted and told me to wait outside until he'll call us. After 2 hours, he called us and we had an interview. He asked what else do I have to show him, I told him pictures. He looked at them and told us he will try to approve all today so if we can have a seat outside. After a while another officer came and said they're having issues with the system and she'll call me to let me know.

Hours later she did call me and said everything is approved and to come to the ceremony tomorrow (7/13/18)!

Can't believe that only hours away I will be done with USCIS.

I'll write here later about the ceremony.

I had my oath ceremony today at 9AM in West Palm Beach, FL.

I arrived around 8:15 and we were all told to wait in one of the general lobbies.

It was very well organized, we all submitted our Letters and Green Cards and received a packet with a Passport Application, a Citizen's Almanac, a copy of the Constitution, a few booklets on what your rights are as a citizen and a protective folder for the Certificate.

Each envelope had a number corresponding to a chair in the ceremony room.

There was about 80 applicants.

The whole time the entire staff was really nice, constantly making jokes like:

Are you guys ready for the final big exam?

You guys presently have no green card or certificate, what if there is a fire alarm and Ice happens to pass by?

I think they were all immigrants and they made the experience really fun.

The ceremony was very standard:

1) an intro video

2) naming all of the countries people were from and asking them to stand up.

3) pledge of allegiance

4) welcome video from president trump

5) some instructions on getting a passport, SSA etc.

We were all given voter registration applications and they accepted them on the spot.

I was out of there at 9:52 and I am now a US Citizen.

After that, he said he can't approve me because of my I751 and asked if my spouse is with me, I told him yes and he said he will talk to both of us later. He asked me several more questions and asked to look at the paperwork I brought. He made copies of what he wanted and told me to wait outside until he'll call us. After 2 hours, he called us and we had an interview. He asked what else do I have to show him, I told him pictures. He looked at them and told us he will try to approve all today so if we can have a seat outside. After a while another officer came and said they're having issues with the system and she'll call me to let me know.

Hours later she did call me and said everything is approved and to come to the ceremony tomorrow (7/13/18)!

Can't believe that only hours away I will be done with USCIS.

I'll write here later about the ceremony.

I arrived around 8:15 and we were all told to wait in one of the general lobbies.

It was very well organized, we all submitted our Letters and Green Cards and received a packet with a Passport Application, a Citizen's Almanac, a copy of the Constitution, a few booklets on what your rights are as a citizen and a protective folder for the Certificate.

Each envelope had a number corresponding to a chair in the ceremony room.

There was about 80 applicants.

The whole time the entire staff was really nice, constantly making jokes like:

Are you guys ready for the final big exam?

You guys presently have no green card or certificate, what if there is a fire alarm and Ice happens to pass by?

I think they were all immigrants and they made the experience really fun.

The ceremony was very standard:

1) an intro video

2) naming all of the countries people were from and asking them to stand up.

3) pledge of allegiance

4) welcome video from president trump

5) some instructions on getting a passport, SSA etc.

We were all given voter registration applications and they accepted them on the spot.

I was out of there at 9:52 and I am now a US Citizen.

Feels great!, Great experience!

I also went to the Infopass appointment with my N-400 NOA and Biometric appointment letters just to be on the safe side. Make sure you bring a picture I.D too not just your GC. Wife received online oath ceremony letter today. Oath ceremony is scheduled for July 25.

Her interview was July 10. Her I-751 was officially approved on July 12. Almost done!
