I'm excited about my interview but can't help but to worry they won't adjudicate my I-751 also...

Hi everyone! I’ve been following this forum for a while but finally decided to join and share my timeline

Applied for N400: March 5th online

Fingerprints: March 28th

Notice of interview received online: June 7th

Interview date: July 12th

Office: Raleigh/Durham North Carolina

 

I’ve been married for 5 years now but I applied under the three years because our wedding anniversary is in June and I applied back in March

99% you will have a combined interview. They cannot approve your N-400 before they approve your I-751. The officer will interview you and your spouse together for the I-751 then proceed to the N-400 interview which will exclude the U.S citizen spouse. They will have both of your I-751 and N-400 files. These days it is becoming a norm that people file for N-400 with a pending I-751. You don't need to worry, everything will be fine. Soon you will be a U.S citizen

Not a Chicago filer but it’s been very quiet here with me in Los Angeles since my case was transferred to somewhere on 4/26.  Only getting “we’re still reviewing” texts.
