@Name O Boy @Dualie @BigEZ @PositiveThinker @Lovetoteach Any updates guys? Hope Civics studying is going well @shell20 @YafaUSA @ramus_maximus.No updates for me so far. Just silence🙄

Nothing yet. I went in to get my I-551 stamp renewed (expires next month) and they stamped me until December, but said that I should get an interview within 3 months at the latest. It was a newer officer, so he wasn't super familiar with trends, but he was really nice and said that they have been seeing more and more I-751/N-400 combined cases, but they are still exception and not the common occurrence .

I see, that sounds awesome. I hope you hear earlier than that. May I ask what is your ECD? Thank you.

@CoffeeVegan Hi buddy how you been doing? No update from my side but I am very optimistic that I will hear something from USCIS around June-25. I have scheduled an infopass to get the I-551 stamp on my passport. The appointment is in 10 days. I hope to see movement at your side :)

Thank you, doing good! Kindly keep us updated about infopass appointment. Hope all goes smooth and that you are able to hold on to the GC. Yes, I would indeed welcome some good news but all in God's good timing, thanks for your wishes. I am amazed at how you can predict approximate date of status update😃

You are welcome. Good to hear from you. I have a crystal ball that tells me about the future :D Did you get the extension stamp? Based on my theory and research I will most probably get a notification from USCIS in between June-20 to June-25.

I am still hoping by faith that I may hear some good news, so have not taken an appointment yet! Any predictions on my potential status update?😄

Hmmm, I think you will get the interview notification this month if not most probably next month :) I don't see you waiting more than 2 or 3 months for the interview notification.

I used a lawyer and he said that it does really move that much slower as the applications are all scanned in not typed in as Shomer said and so the delay is only at the initial processing center anyway.  The local office doesnt know whether it is an online application or mailed in.  I have an IOE identifier just the same as the people who have filed online.  My lawyer just likes paper.  I mailed it on the 9th March and my biometrics are tomorrow April 4th and so this is around about the same timing as people who have filed online.  I think the speed is more dependent upon other things like the time it takes to get the background check back, some people can take 48 hours while others can take 90 days.  We can definitely monitor it here to see whether mine will be slower by filing vie mail than online, but it hasnt seem to be so far.  My estimated processing time is March 2019 and this is solely based on the fact that Las Vegas is only processing Feb 17 applications now, but I will update once I complete my biometrics and get any update.

No updates other than a weekly one that says they last took action on my case on March 16th, which is not true.  Not studied for the civics test yet, leaving it to nearer the time to retain the information.  One thing I did notice before I received my interview, when I was away, was that I received two notifications about my Green Card (which I had received 2 months before) and my husband was awoken with something like 40 text messages with the same news. (I don't have a mobile phone, so they have his number for alert). I keep wondering if there is any connection, whether or not they will looking at my case the week before to prepare it for interview. I have heard a few people since getting the weird notices, but not really looked to see if they got an interview or news the week after like I did. Worth keeping an eye on though, another of their secret codes perhaps? Lol :)

Nothing since the transfer to NBC in early May. I am getting those, "We are still reviewing your case....." notifications, weekly now.  I am hoping for some word either this month or early July. My stamp runs out in October, so I hope Saint Paul shakes the lead out in the near future. :)

My mom is 84, and she applied for citizenship a couple of weeks after I did. She has been an LPR for over 35 years. She lives in San Antonio, TX. Well...this week she got a letter with her interview date!! She has her interview on June 28th. They told her the process could take up to three hours and not to bring too many guests because of seating, which tells me she will have her oath ceremony as well. She's gonna be a citizen before me! I am so proud of her!!!! (Sorry folks, I know it's off topic but I just HAD to share! )

What lovely news for your mom.   Sounds like she will get the oath ceremony the same time.  I received my notice on the 31st May but its not until 10 July and it says 2 hours for the interview, so again it seems like she will be an American citizen on June 28th. Shame they couldnt hold off until July 4th though to make it extra special.
