Hi welcome! I am waiting for the snail mail as well. That should probably give us more info, however I am prepared, if after all this its a glitch, ah good ole USCIS !

Thank you CoffeeVegan

It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one:)

i called the 1800 number and the automated message only said my case “is now under activie review.”  It didn’t tell where my application was transferred to...

I’ll come back here and share with you when there’s any progress:)

Hello everyone,

We applied as a family (separate files of course) my application info dates are:

they receive it on: 3/15/2018

biometerics appt: 3/17/2018

the actual date for biometrics: 4/3/2018

Now: under review

however, my sister received an interview date two days ago, her info:

they receive it on: 3/12/2018

biometrics appt: 3/17/2018

the actual date for biometrics: 4/7/2018

scheduled her for interview: 4/26/2018

interview date: 6/5/2018

other applications same info, but maybe 2-3 days difference of each

our applications start with IOE if it does matter, any idea when should I expect to be scheduled for interview cuz I'll travel in the end of June (I thought it will take longer time) we haven't finished 5 yrs yet, will complete 5 yrs in a few days though.

oh, we have all almost same recipt# except me last two number in 50s while the rest are in 70s !! we applied together.

The fact that you applied at the same time doesn't necessary mean your timelines will be the same. I know two siblings and their mother who all applied in Feb 2017. One of them got an interview in November, the other two in January of this year. I assume files get distributed to different "desks" and not all move at the same rate or in the same order.

However, they'll notify you at least a month before the interview, and if you absolutely have to travel at the appointed date, you have enough time to ask to postpone the interview.

I know it's not necessary to receive the same time, but I was assuming since we were scheduled for biometrics around the same date we might experience the same for the interview! I think I'll postpone my travel (even I already bought the ticket) but I won't risk it by rescheduling or postpone. Thanks for your reply!

That's great news @Avandongen ! Makes me feel hopeful again that there is a reason behind the letters we got. Good luck in your interview!

I like the online availability for our applications, just too bad many glitches still seem to happen. When I received my interview notification online, I received 45(!) of them, all with the same date and time....

Imagine how afraid I was to check my mail....

At this point, we all can only speculate but on the positive side, there is some movement. USCIS.GOV will have a new website from May-19 I wonder if it has to do anything with the glitches and bugs. Having said that anyone who received the transfer notice by mail should feel good because it shows the progress of some sort. NBC is considered as a backbone for USCIS when it comes to finalizing the applications. I have attached a link below which is very helpful:

As far as I know about NBC and the research I did the answer is NO. Having said that I don't have the official or complete evidence but I do have some supporting evidence;

NBC serves as the pre-interview processing office for N-400, I-485 NBC serves as the USCIS pre-interview processing hub for applications that require an interview. Our goal is to provide the field with interview-ready cases. Our two largest workloads are the Family-Based Adjustment of Status (FBAS) I-485 and N-400 applications. We also get some employment-based applications that require an interview from the Nebraska Service Center. For the FBAS and N-400 cases, we review the files for prima facie initial evidence that is required per 8 CFR 103.2(b)(1). Our evidence review process is designed to prepare the file for adjudication and reduce the continuance of cases in the field.

  I hope this helps, regards.
