One question, I see that some people have i751 pending, what's that form for? Do all permanent residents have to file?

I-751 is petition to remove conditions for conditional permanent resident. If you have a 10 year green card, you don't need it.

Seriously awesome, thank you for your time and effort. I feel proud that the March filers have a cooler tracking document than a lot of the other months😋😀😉

Am I correct in assuming that ECD is the estimate in months till finished?  What numbers are people using for that?  The online system or others out of their field office?

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

@N-o-l-a, you should use the ECD date indicated on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

@krd012, I have it sorted by the "Sent" date but people keep using other filters and leaving without clearing them out.

Please CLEAR All the filters you use before you leave!

I'm using the one from the online system. If you've mailed your application in I'm pretty sure you can still make an online account to track a paper filing to see what it is.

3-25-15 I-145 and I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

3-27-15 USPS confirmation of delivery

04-02-15 Receipts received via text message and email

04-28-15 Biometrics appointment completed

05-07-15 E-mail notice of change in my application to scheduled interview

06-12-15 Interview appointment scheduled for this date

06-12-15 AOS approved at the interview

3-15-18 N-400 Submitted online

3-15-18 NOA and receipt online

3-19-18 NOA paper copy received

4-4-18  Biometrics Appointment

Gotcha.  I just feel like it is probably more like 13 months IRL versus the 20 months listed onlne, which is why I asked.

Wow, glad folks like the Google Sheet! It definitely cleans up the convo. I was confused when I clicked on it and it looked completely different and now managed by someone else. Ok! Well, hope it's useful and good luck to everyone for a speedy process.

Hello Everyone!

I did my biometrics today at USCIS SAN FRANCISCO it takes like 5 minute.

My question is how many fingers did they scan? Is it both hands? all fingers?

I'm asking because the lady who assisted me scanned my 4 fingers on my right hand only.

I ask her if we're over, she said yes. She gave a yellow paper and a booklet for a civil test.

After I get out from the building, my case status change from biometric appointment to initial review.

Congrats on getting through with that step. I read the same here that only one hand was scanned. Also I read that the status changed to We reviewed your biometrics for some folks. The "intial review "status is a new observation to me. Not to alarm you or anything, Im sure its all different for different folks. Good luck on a speedy interview date and the civics studying!😀

Hi everybody, does anyone knows how long does biometrics physical letter takes to be delivered or can I just print out a copy of it from my uscis account and try to do a walk-in because it says they send it on March 31 but I haven’t received it to this day, thank you

@Mar8989 you can print out the FP Appointment Notice in your myUSCIS online and take that with you. I printed mine out as soon as I received it and walked 2 days later and got it done in 10 minutes :)

hi everyone, I just joined the group from NYC and I'm a March filer. Not sure how to add myself in the list but here are my dates:

Application submitted: March 14

NOA: March 14

Biometrics scheduled: March 17

Fingerprinting: April 4

Current completion time is 9 months and estimated wait time seems to be 8 months. Does it really take that long put someone in line for interview?  What's so interesting is that I had been waiting for my I-751 to get approved for a year now, and as soon as I applied to N400, it got approved after a week. I wonder if it has to do with me starting my naturalization process...

From my understanding NYC filers tend to wait longer than usual since it's a busier area, but crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly. Wishing the best of luck to everyone!

Just type the dates for when you were not working and type "Unemployed" under the school/work name. If you did not work nor go to school at all in the past 5 years just type unemployed and the dates from 5 years ago to present
