Hi,

You can see that in your case history.  It says that "We received your application." Your NOA date is generally you submitted your completed application form. It takes around 24-48 hours for your case history to be updated. You can see your NOA in the documents tab. Again 24-48 hours needed for the document to appear in your documents section.

The processing time is not accurate. It keeps changing throughout the course of the N400 journey. So do not worry about the wait. Most probably it will be much faster than what it shows now.

Best of luck!

Thank you so much. I am looking at the positive side and hoping for the best :)

Yes. I have also filed online. An hour ago I checked it says " Biometrics are scheduled". But, the letter will appear in a few days and will show my time, date, and location.

Hey thank you for the brief explanation.

You are awesome . I pray for you and other people who are hwlping by explaning things because ur and other people explanation/help is helping so many people like me. It means alot this forum so good.

One more thing do you recommend that after i get my transcripts. I should upload online or wait for interview time and provide them than?

Second thing as i have submitted my application online how can we search case time line for that amd what field office/ texas  are those cases are processed.

Thanks

I think I might go ahead and upload them  and take them with me too. I have also booked a holiday to go and see my children and grandbabies in England from July 1st until August 6th. I wanted to do this before my Green Card expires in September. I'm going to upload a copy of my flight itinerary so they hopefully won't schedule an interview ( if everything is moving along nicely, as my approximate completion date is Dec 2018) during that time. It can't do any harm, and it will show them the time spent out of the country. It only took a friend of mine four months and her Oath Ceremony is at the beginning of April.

The only time line I'm going by is what they have said online. It's all approximate anyway, and not set it stone.  As for the field office, mine is Detroit. At least that's where I went 10 years ago.

If there's anything I can try and help with, just ask. I'm not an expert, but I know how stressful this all is.

My take on it is if it's going to actually take that long that's fine but there's no reason they can't adjudicate our ROC application in the mean time. They shouldn't hold it hostage with the N-400. If N-400 happens this year I can understand making it a combo interview but if it's going to be almost 2 years just give us the damn green card while we wait.

I'm sure they'll do your ROC before they get to the naturalization at the current rate of processing at MSP.  That's just Minneslooooowta for you.

I absolutely agree. It does feel a little like being left out. No green card in sight, CSC is  months away. N 400 is months away and if you need a stamp you search hours for an appointment to get a stamp that is 3 hours away. Explain your status to airlines, employers, 😑 Yikes it is tough, but hopefully more good things happen along to surpass the tough stuff. We are all in this struggle together and hopefully time goes so fast and all our processes move miraculously along . Sending you hugs😚

Thank you. :) Luckily for us we live in the suburbs and the field office is only 25 mins away.
