Just came back from infopass. I kind of don’t believe that it triggers any movements or anything... looks like it was a waist of time. I mean the guy in the window was very helpful and nice but I didn’t find out anything interesting.

He said he already had 3 people in front of me with the same question today. He said no one looked at my case since I applied for removal of conditions (that was in February 2017) and until September it was at Lee Summit office. But it was sent back to California to their office in September. He said he doesn’t know how long it will take to process but 90% sure that it’s going to be an interview (it’s a new government regulation to interview all i751 applicants).

For some reason I have a feeling that it will take a while to schedule an interview.

When i I was applying for n400 I thought that way I will save some time.  But looks like it will take same time or maybe even more as if I waited for second green card and only then applied for n 400.

Good of luck to everyone.

Oh my....!!! That’s not good news. Nobody has any idea when or how long does it take for the 10 yrs green card. 😞

that really sucks for this kind of system.

Yes, it is truly a shame because now it has backlogged those of us who applied after ROC and on the basis of the 5 year rule.  USCIS needs to get their act together and get you long time ROCers approved before touching your N400s.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

I personally think too that they shouldn’t allow us to apply for n400 before roc approval. That way it will be more clear for us , like what to do step by step and easier to sort and process applications for them. For now everyone just have to wait... but hey we are almost there, just final steps left!

Congratulations, @Shanshanjamrock! If you have been approved of your I-751 case,  you're on track to complete this protracted process! I am having my N-400 interview tomorrow, and taking things as they come, with the necessary preparations. I'll keep you posted.
