If you are interviewing at the Abu Dhabi embassy, then i don't think you need to worry about this. They do not ask for the CENOMAR, not from the beneficiary. At least this was my experience when I interviewed there.

Re your petitioner - even if he is filipino by birth, he is a USC now (plus he does not hold dual citizenship), he therefore will not need a CENOMAR.   He just needs to be single and free to marry by US law.

Just a quick question.  Was your fiance Filipino (Naturalized U.S. citizen), I only ask because that is the only time I have seen the embassy ask for a CENOMAR of the petitioner?

He is half Filipino, but he is USC by birth.

I did not word my response properly perhaps. I agree with you that the petitioner will not need a cenomar at all.

In your case I don't see how the embassy would have asked for a CENOMAR from your husband.

Depends if the petitioner was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the U.S. or not.   Like said earlier, I have seen where the embassy asked for a CENOMAR from the petitioner when they were Filipino by birth, then naturalized USC later.  But that is for Manila only.   I truly don't know what the embassy in Abu Dhabi requires.

Just to add. The US embassy in Abu Dhabi does not ask for the beneficiary’s CENOMAR. So I doubt they will even ask for the petitioner’s.

Ok i get it now after reading all the earlier responses. Thanks for the info.

Abu dhabi does not require cenomars at all. At least this was true for me when i interviewed there in aug 2017. Dont know if this has changed since then though.

hi everyone

what if the US filipino petitioner was married here in the Philippines before but divorced in the US since both of his ex-wife are now US citizen thru naturalization.. do i still need a CENOMAR for him or the CEMAR (Marriage Certificate) to bring on my interview? pls helo..thank you.

If born in the the Philippines then became a USC, and lived in the Philippine after age 18 ... then yes.  Otherwise no       You will request a CENOMAR but PSA will issue a CEMAR if he was married in the Philippines.

Do make sure to have copies of his divorce decree.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

CERTIFICATE OF NO MARRIAGE (if applicable). Applicants who are single and have never been married (18 years and older) are required to obtain a CENOMAR from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). The request for a CENOMAR is a standard measure adopted in Manila to ensure that a visa applicant does not have any concealed, unterminated prior marriage to anyone, which would eliminate his / her claim to the single status of the visa category sought. To request a CENOMAR be directly submitted to the US Embassy (recommended), you may do so here: https://www.ecensus.com.ph/Secure/Terms.aspx

 A CENOMAR is also required for a petitioner who was born in the Philippines and lived in the country for at least one (1) year upon reaching the age of 18.

 PROOF OF TERMINATION OF MARRIAGE (if applicable). Annulment decree, death certificate issued by the PSA, a foreign divorce decree or foreign death certificate.
