Sadly, it looks like I've been "blocked" by Trump's border "wall" for a while...  :bonk:

I may want to ask for an 18-month extension when I'm at the Seattle office just in case it takes until 2020!

Very depressing...

Thanks for sharing. You and I have very similar process and timelines. If you hear from other visa Journey members that get rescheduled please let me know!  I want to see how long it took them to be rescheduled...

So I got my interview notice on Monday which is I-751 Interview. It says bring your spouse and all the papers like bank statements, tax return etc. and it is also says you may be interviewed separately for your pending N-400 on the same day and I will also get another notice for N-400 too which is like what Kincowhe said on earlier post, so I am sure now that our interview got canceled because of our I-751 is still pending! I think SF office just changed their procedure for those who have I-751 pending. By the way my interview is in the beginning of August. I am so happy that they finally rescheduled my interview. Hopefully you hear from them soon too!

I just check our i751 and it says.....would that be the local office. I am asking cause I did not receive a letter.. They sent this 2 weeks before the n400 interview was scheduled.

On May 8, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by June 7, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I got the same notification on May 8th for my I-751 status. If you read other thread, you will see that a lot of us who filed N-400 with I-751 pending got the same notification on that day so I guess USCIS just wanted to let people know that the field office will take over I-751 instead of CSC or VSC.

I got that update, and the one after that saying my 751 has been transferred to a new office after I got the 751 approval/letter. I was naturalized on 5/23, and 751 is still now saying it is in a new office that has the jurisdiction, so my case proves that these updates don't mean anything. I would not read too much into it.

I know right, this is funny! Your case really proves that this update doesn’t mean anything;)

Yes, a lot of 400/751 applicants also got the identical updates around the same time I got them. I think it is a ploy to falsely make applicants think their cases are moving so they can avoid service requests and even legal actions. It is very typical under Trump White House.

Just another updates, so I just got my N-400 interview notice in mail yesterday and the time and date is exactly the same as I-751 interview notice that I got earlier on Monday. It is confirmed that I will have both interview on the same day. I think you should be hearing from them soon!

Thank you so much! You will definitely hear from them soon, we are in the same boat! My I-751 and N-400 status are still the same only the date that interview was scheduled changed to the updated one. Just keep checking the N-400 status, once the date changes meaning they already reschedule for you then you will receive both I-751 and N-400 notice after a week. Keep us updated if you hear from them. Good luck:)

This will take effect on September 11th, 2018. Better be approved the first time. Just need to try hard as much as you can to be approved the first time as if your life depends on it. Sounds like they won't give you a second chance anymore, no more RFE. If one got denied, he or she could be placed in deportation proceedings. This is New Trump policy. Go figure. It is scary and clearly anti immigration. Trump is making it more and more difficult for legal immigration as well.

It seems that this policy will be applicable to all applications received by USCIS after 11/11/18.

Effective on 9/11/2018. I guess you whoever submits their applications after this date is subject to this new guideline. I am so glad I am done. It is a good time to be naturalized now in Trump's America. Not only he is anti immigrant, he is also attempting to slow down or undermine legal immigration.
