So she completed everything , did the interview and is just waiting for the green card since July last year?

I had the exact same situation with my mother in law in 2016

Can you tell me what happened?

Shes been waiting for 12 months now after the residency i485 interview and its just processing for her and 2 kids. Lawyers say they cant speed it up or anything.

Yay are we getting the old gang back together? :D

Yes, I just sent off my I-751 app last week! It sucked having to once again go through so many documents. How about you??

Yes, I'm starting it. Hopefully I can send it in the next few weeks. With all this virus thing, I'm afraid my green card will be expired before they can remove the conditional status. It says that they are closed. Do you know if we just need to send proof of marriage in the last 2 years or the whole thing since the pre green card application? I really dont want to do it again. Do you use the i751 form from uscis website? It says its expired 12.31.19

I didn't realize biometrics could happen so quickly! From what I've seen on here, some people only get their biometrics notices half a year later 😕 Which service center were you assigned to?

My case number starts with SRC, so I think that is Texas? Some people in my ROC thread received biometrics notices in 2-3 weeks as well.

Oh, nice! I just got my case number, and it starts with LIN, so Nebraska -- which seems like it might be the slowest.

I wonder how cases are going to be affected given that nobody can do biometrics appointments 😕

Hi gang! We are also filling this month to remove conditions, although a bit on the deadline but still within the 90 day period before greencard expires. Hopefully it’s all good. Definitely way less documents than the very first time so it was way easier. It will probably take a long time to get a biometrics appointment due to the whole situation. Best wishes to everyone! (Also, is there a new thread or is this still the one?)

Timeline (From B2 visa to AOS)

July 15, 2016 -> Got married
August 3, 2017 -> Mailed AOS packet (I-130, I-485, I-765)
August 4, 2017 -> Package received
August 14, 2017 -> NOA for I-130 and I-485 (not I-765... called multiple times to ask about this but was told to wait)
August 25, 2017 -> NOA for Biometrics Appt (I-485)
August 30, 2017 -> Sent email asking to look for I-765 (My I-765 was LOST)
September 8, 2017 -> Biometrics Appt for I-485
September 26, 2017 -> Received email from USCIS I-765 found and PD August 4
October, 2017 -> NOA for I-765 and Tier 2 officer cancelled 2nd biometrics

November 3, 2017 -> Raised SR online for I-765

December 11, 2017 -> SR showed as "completed" by the assigned officer

January 8, 2018 -> Name was updated

January 18, 2018 -> interview scheduled

This is just to connect with the old August AOS gang, but there are other ROC threads for whichever month you filed in. My April filers thread is here: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/734524-i-751-removal-of-conditions-april-2020-filers-merged/

I heard some offices were sending out letters saying they will reuse the old fingerprints? Uscis offices will open next week I think, so hopefully thinks will get moving.   I filed this January and just received a case update to “new card is being produced.” I was able to go to my new bio appointment at the end of Feb.  I am quite shocked that this only took a few months.  Wishing you the best of luck. my timelime is below.

1/15/20 - i-751 package delivered to TX

1/21/20 - text notification receipt #SRC2090133xxx

1/25/20 - NOA received

2/25/20 - Biometrics appointment

5/29/20 - Case status update to “New card is being produced.”
