Congrats!!! We have almost the same timeline. May I ask what happened with your two RFIE's?? I know some people get two but it's rare.

Yes, we did get two one was for a I-94 and birth certificate translated and later I got one for a joint sponsor ☹️  and my medical but as soon as I send it back I got my combo card. This was back in April.

Still waiting on the interview in Phoenix for a year now.
Applied for a new EAD 120 days before mine expires and got a receipt notice that extends the current EAD that I have 180 days beyond the expiration date.
Also got new medical exam done, another $220 out of the door. The civil surgeon said that they are going to raise prices in October by $120 for i-693 exam as they will be required to do a blood TB test, not the skin TB test.
This time, I won't let the exam results expire by sending them in too early. USCIS says that one must submit their medical exam results within one year. After submission, the results are good for 365 days. I will bring the package to the interview, but if they can't schedule their interview within a year, I will wait around 330 days to submit the medical exam via mail. Once they receive it, it will be good for another 365 days. Thus, I will milk out almost 700 days out of the same exam in case they take more than 2-2.5 years to process the case.

Hi I am in Phoenix my PD 08-07-18 what is yours? I called USCIS 3days ago a nice guy IO helped me he filled a solicitation to check my case why is taking so long,  he said I should receive an answer from my local office 15-30days if not I should call again. My medical exam is expired but I will wait until I have my interview scheduled to do my new medical. I hope Phoenix office hurry up.

Canelita, my PD is Aug 28, 2017. Right now they are processing 50% of cases in 14 months and 93% in 18.5 months. Other field offices go as high as 34 months to process 93% of cases. This means that in 4.5 months (14-18.5 months) they process 43% of cases. This tells me that the field office only starts working on cases that are at least 10 months old with the exception to expedite certain cases in our category. I am guessing that by now they processed only around 30% of cases with PD in August.

Sounds like a good idea to wait on that medical exam.

Another email from DHS saying that there is no update on our case, and they are still processing it.  😂

Every time I get this email I hug my green card.

Spore (and fellow Canuck), I am so happy for you!! 😃 Congratulations and good luck!

I logged in today and saw an update saying Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview... dated March 16, 2018. I checked the account multiple times since the spring, last time about a month ago, and there was never any update other than Case Received. What does this mean?? Is it possible they're sending the invitation but it's been backdated? Has this happened to anyone else?

Thank you!!! And funny you should mention the late update. The same thing happened to me!

I called USCIS back in May and the rep told me the exact date our case had been put in line for an interview (mid April). I didn't bother checking the DHS site for a while and only got the recent interview update on the regular egov site. I decided to check the DHS site and guess what??? It says "Case Ready" on the same day the rep had told me. "Case Ready" just means your case is in line for an interview. When it is actually scheduled, it will say "Interview Scheduled". Hope you get this soon!!!! 🇨🇦

I discovered you can turn those emails off. If you log in, the top right has a drop down menu and a "settings" button. On that page, you can turn off the "inactivity emails".

I was confused for a moment, and then I realized you probably went a different route than me. I did a K1 visa, so there was no way I could have waited for the medical as I had to send it in to get the K1.
