ironically, May11th 2017 is when I entered US and today is May10th 2018- Within one year I received my GC I thought it will take more 6 months as my EAD got delayed

@Aviinashh Thats Awesome! I finally got my letter today in the mail. My interview is scheduled for June 14th at my local office! Wooooohooo!

Still waiting for a schedule to be interviewed. It says ready to be scheduled for an interview since October 2017.

I went last week to my lawyer's office to fill out the renewal for EAD and AP... Maybe next week i receive the NOAs

 

My card expires in 4 months

is there a fee to file for a renewal or do you request a fee waiver?

No.. It's free while you have a pending AOS.  I only paid for the mail.

Thank you! Let us know how the process goes for you  I will set my AP to renew in July, because I have a trip coming up in June, so I'll be able to do it 90 days prior to expiring. Just hope I get my interview by then, or that it won't take too long to get the AP like it was last time

Haha so guys, an entire month later and I just got an email and text notification that my combo card was delivered to me.

Hahahaha nice! I got that as well when I received my EAD, I was already working. I was like "Oh really?!".

 

Hope you will receive your GC interview in no time after this!!

Omg guys! I know it’s been a while and I was kind of scared after our long interview (30-40 minutes, from B2 visa) back in April and RFE for an updated medical. We sent that this past Monday and I can’t believe today I woke up and saw a text message “your case (I-485) has been updated” and I was like aaaah! Let’s see... and I found that:

 

”Your greencard is being produced” !!

 

🙌🙌🙌🙌

 

FINALLY!! After a long ### wait and some processing errors the greencard phase is over for us!! 

 

It seriously feels awesome and I truly hope everyone here gets to feel this genuine excitement of being done with this paperwork and start a more normal life in this country with your loved one(s).

Thank you VJ family. 💜 Definitely made the long wait (especially for EAD card lol am I right?) a looot more manageable and enjoyed our theories of how this whole process works and/or what made our case moved forward.

 

Also: Good luck to everyone having interviews soon! Will see you in the other side!! 🌈😊
