I did contact the Ombudsman and mid April they sent an email saying they're waiting for USCIS's response and USCIS has notified us that they're reviewing our case and should hear something shortly but two weeks have passed and I'm hoping that by the end of this month we hear something...then again, I've been saying that since the start of this year. 

 

And ok I'm hoping it'll be just an RFE but idk why they want to take forever about sending anything!  lol thanks @mushroomspore! 

Yes, I think this would be an RFE not grounds for denial. I'm sure they know people can make unintentional mistakes.

UPDATE:  Hey Guy..I would like to tell all my friends that my AOS journey has finally come to an end (8th August 2017- 4th May 2018). The interview was this morning (May 4th) at 8:45 and the interview went smoothly. It lasted about 25 minutes and the best part is by 10:00 am I received a email from USICS it said "Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production". I thank allllllllll my friends here for all their help and inputs during my AOS journey.

We have a large volume of interviews to schedule so you may not hear from us immediately. We will notify you when we have scheduled your interview and mail you an appointment notice with details.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

I have been ready to be scheduled for interview and have had that message since October 23 and nothing neither...Still took until December 22 to get my AP/Work visa lol...Oh well  can live a semi normal life with this! 

It depends on where your interview is, but some places are slower and have more request...

Thanks  Yes at least I can live and work peacefully and when everything is genuine AOS and ROC cannot stop anyone.

Thank you my friend . I know...it was terrible waiting for the EAD and just 20-25 minutes into the interview we were approved on the spot and told me about the conditional GC and how to apply for ROC. What is your current status ?

I am very pleased to announce that as of Friday, May 4, 2018, my case was scheduled for an interview!!! I should be receiving the letter this week. I was about to give up hope, because it was stuck on "biometric fee received" since August 21, 2017! Good luck all! Our time is coming!!

 My case is stuck on “biometric fee received “ since August 15

This morning I have received my AOS Approval letter as well as my Green Card. I thought it would come on two separate days but I was happy to see them in the mailbox  

 

ironically, May11th 2017 is when I entered US and today is May10th 2018- Within one year I received my GC I thought it will take more 6 months as my EAD got delayed
