So I updated my signature last week to reflect all the updates to my case but it doesn't seem to be showing when I post. Is this happening to anyone else??

Nope, it worked for me. Make sure you're clicking "save"?

I did several times but it still won't update. Weird! I'll message a mod about it.

Anyways did you guys hear that USCIS is gonna be using a new protocol for mailing our cards to us? They're going to require ID documents to be shown and signature confirmation, starting in May. I think they will also allow us to list one person to sign on our behalf if we aren't present during delivery.

Oh god, what?! That sounds super stressful. You'd essentially have to stay home from work to make sure you don't miss it....

edit: I just looked it up, and it looks like it's being "phased in", so it may not apply to us:

"The first phase will affect documents that need to be re-mailed because they have been returned as non-deliverable. These documents include Permanent Resident Cards (also called Green Cards), Employment Authorization Cards, and Travel Booklets. Applicants who have changed mailing addresses during the course of the application process are more likely to have their secure documents sent with the new delivery method, which USCIS will expand to all secure documents in the future."

Ah ok, that makes sense. It's nice to see them taking some steps to counteract lost or returned mail. Seems to happen to a good number of people.

Not really USCIS related, but I applied for a name change on my SSN card. I originally got an SSN 3 years ago while I was on F1/OPT. Obviously I had to wait until I got the EAD to change my name. I went last week and the new card already came! =) Hope everyone's doing alright with their cases.

Hi all, we filed for AOS last Nov and got NOA in DEC.  We also completed Biometric in Jan but haven't heard anymore since then.  If they have an appointment for interview would that also show on the online case tracker ?  It still shows as Received.

You likely have to wait more. This thread is for people who filed in August, I'd recommend posting in the Nov filers thread so you get a sense of what is happening with people who share your timeline.

I have question.. as I'm still waiting for some type of notification from USCIS in regards to my husband's EAD .. I looked back at the copy that I have of the EAD form. I didn't have a good printer/copier at the time so what I have is like an extra printed copy of the I-765 with pen signature rather than a copy of the form I sent...

For the date of entry and city I put the date that we got married and the city in which got married in rather than what was on the I-94. :o It's been so long of a wait that I don't remember if last minute I sent a different form with the correct dates and not our marriage date lol would that deny us getting the EAD or just an RFE

sooo yeah lets hope I was actually smart and sent in the correct dates but hypothetically .. if I did send the wrong dates of entry and city, what do you think would happen?

(Just so I understand clearly) You don't have an exact photocopy of the actual I-765 form you've sent to USCIS?? I'm not sure what issues an incorrect date on a form might cause. They definitely cross-check everything, so maybe they'll send you another RFE asking for the form with correct dates. I really don't *think* they can deny you just because of a clerical error. I only came across one story on here where a couple was denied their EAD during the AoS process. But it was because they got an RFIE for their I-864 and they forgot to send the copies of tax returns with the response. Tax returns are obviously extremely important for adjudicating the I-485/I-864.

The only thing I can think of is to reach out to the ombudsman (sorry, I can't remember if you said you emailed them already or not) and let them know that this error MIGHT be in your form. This way, they can inquire about it at the very least.

Yeah I don't have an exact photocopy of the I-765 form I sent to USCIS heh sorry if that was a little confusing. I have a printed version with ink signature so that's why I'm thinking maybe last minute I caught my mistake and rather than making a copy I just kept the incorrect dated one. But idk! It's been such a long wait I don't remember. I did contact the Ombudsman and mid April they sent an email saying they're waiting for USCIS's response and USCIS has notified us that they're reviewing our case and should hear something shortly but two weeks have passed and I'm hoping that by the end of this month we hear something...then again, I've been saying that since the start of this year.

And ok I'm hoping it'll be just an RFE but idk why they want to take forever about sending anything! :ranting: lol thanks @mushroomspore
