Thanks! That sounds really painless. Hopefully I have something similar... when entering Canada, they didn't do anything with my passport so it's almost as though I haven't left the country :/

Hey guys, so I just got an email notification that our case has been scheduled for an interview! Don't know the date or time - I'm guessing that'll reach us by physical mail. 

 

BUT when I logged in, it says "Employment-Based Interview Was Scheduled" :wacko: :o :unsure: instead of marriage-based.... Should we be worried?? Did anyone else get this mix-up??

A bunch of January filers had the same issue but the letter was correct and said "Marriage-Based", it seems that it is another glitch in the system

01/22/2018: 3 NOA's received in Mail (I-130, I-485 and I-765)

02/09/201: Received Biometrics Appointment Letter scheduled for 02/22

02/10/2018: Email notification of RFIE :(

02/12/2018: Early walk-in for Biometrics, successful

02/16/2018: RFIE received for birth certificate and translation, sent back the same day

02/20/2018: RFIE response delivered, sent via Fedex

02/23/2018: Case status updated to RFIE response received

03/05/2018: Courtesy letter for I-693, medical exam received, letter dated Feb 28th

06/01/2019: RFE finally received after being lost in the mail, asking for a new medical exam

06/06/2019: Response to RFE sent, received the next day 06/07/2019

06/17/2019: Received notification of another RFE, 3rd time will be the charm hopefully

06/22/2019: RFE received for new medical

07/02/2019: Went to doctor for new medical

07/11/2019: I-485 approved without new medical exam

Hi everyone,

 

Congratulations to all who got good news, and best of luck to the others! I finally got my card today and immediately applied for an SSN.

 

Now I have a question about travelling: my name on my EAD Card is Spazkles Maidenname-Marriedname (ex Jane J Doe-Holmes), and my name on my passport is my maiden name only. When I book a plane ticket, should I book it under my maiden name or my maiden name + my married name as it appears on my card?

Hello,

 

Always book your ticket as stated in your passport which is most likely your maiden name, and carry a copy of your marriage license with you to show when you get back in the US to show CBP.

Airlines are very strict about names on the ticket matching the passeport.

I just now received an email saying “we are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this point” - #######! 😂 I got my interview date in the mail like a week ago.

It was possibly a glitch. You should call USCIS to confirm (if you havent already :) ) their website has been kinda glitchy lately and also, the updates online sometimes take days before it catches up with what is really happening hahaha... I had gotten my EAD card in the mail and 2 weeks later I got the update on my case that 'My case had been approved' hahaha
